You being the prankster you are had come up with an idea. Since your relationship with Maya and Carina was lowkey you decide why not prank fellow coworkers.

While also teasing them in the process or getting what you want. First up: Maya Bishop and Station 19.

Since you are Battalion Chief because of Sullivan demotion for many reasons. You got moved up and moved to Station 19. Not your call.

Anyways since that happened you and the team would sit and all have meals together. When you could. Maya thought that she could come in your office and tease you while you were on important phone call. Today being one of those days.

So now it is time for lunch and payback.

"You sticking around today Chief?" Andy asks. You smile at her as Dean throws a strawberry for you. Catching it in your mouth and giving him a thumbs up. Ben hands you your daily fruit bowl.

"How is it possible you give pure German Shepherd energy?" Jack asks.

"I thought I would've been a Golden Retriever or Husky." You mumble and Andy laughs at you.

"What do you mean by that?" Vic asks. "I mean I get it but I don't. Wouldn't she be in the wrong profession then, because German Shepherd do like police work or military." Montgomery points at her in agreement.

Maya enters and your smile grows.

"I mean she literally has the traits of a German Shepherd. Energetic like all the time. It is crazy to me that she younger than us and she has the knowledge of fucking Einstein. Loyalty is her biggest thing." You point at him to agree with that last one. "Then biggest one of them all is her courage. The way she has talked to any man in power before her is so......."

"Badass."

"She goes in gun blazing."

"Never offend her family." You laugh as they all continue throwing out answers.

"I'm ready to eat guys so come on." You all haven't had a chance to eat together for a complete meal in 3 or so shifts. Everyone starts grabbing different items and placing them on the table.

You all sit down. You made sure to sit next to Maya. After plating up your food all of you are laughing and eating. You place your hand on Maya thigh. She grabs your hand and squeezes it. You don't usually show her affection at work.

Only because everyone knows about her and Carina. You on the other hand had more authority so you kept it on the DL. Only until the Fire Chief approved it. Which happened so long ago you just haven't said anything.

"How is your hot Italian doctor Maya?" Montgomery asks. Vic points with her fork in agreement. You slide your hand up higher slowly.

"She is incredible. Maybe next shift I can get her to come and make us her famous lasagna."

"I will marry her for that damn recipe." Vic moans. Everyone laughs at her but agrees it is amazing. You get closer to Maya center and the heat radiating from her is unreal.

Conversation continue and you decide to cup her center while she is taking a sip of juice. She starts choking. You remove your hand to pat her back and rub it.

"You okay?"

"Yea. Just a little to fast." She coughs. As you all finish out lunch you had worked Maya up enough. Enough for the others to notice too.

"Can I have a word with you Battalion Chief in my office?" You smile at the others as you grab plates.

"I can't. I have to clean up and you....." You point up just as the siren goes off.
