"Why isn't he picking up?"

"Bri he's probably busy."

"He just texted me 15 minutes ago."

"He always answers just give him a bit." Sabrina rolls her eyes not wanting to listen to her sister anymore.

A few minutes pass and you call her.

"Hey baby."

"What were you doing?"

"Putting the groceries in the car and then I forgot I didn't buy something. So I ran back into the store to get it. Left my phone in the car. I should be there in 13ish minutes."

"Mhhmmm okay. See you when you get here." She hangs up on you.

"Why do you treat him like he's always up to no good?"

"Because maybe he is."

"That's low."

"I don't need you to tell me. I just overthink." She hates that she does but she can't help it.

When you get to her place she immediately apologizes. And she felt even more guilty when you handed her flowers.

Few Weeks Later

You were playing the game when your phone starts ringing. "Who is it?"

"Sabrina." Your cousin Natalie tells you.

"Answer it and put it on speaker for me." She gives you a thumbs up.

"Hey Sabrina he's playing the game."

"Ohhh okay I can call later."

"No baby no need. I'm just chilling with the family and playing video games."

"Okay have fun." The line goes dead before you can get another word out. She has been acting weird lately.

You decide to text her and none of your messages would deliver. What the??

The next two days you spend with your family. You invite Sabrina to the family cookout at your place. When she's gets there you are playing beer pong with people. You instantly greet her and start introducing her to different member.

You two have only been dating for 8 months so she met your parents and siblings really. As you are introducing her your two favorite cousins show up.

Now the kickback gon hit different. They both run to you screaming and all. You haven't seen them in a year or so.

"Look at those muscle. Someone hit the gym."

"His hair. Nike you look good." You roll your eyes at the nickname.

"This is Sabrina. Sab this is Abby, Lieke and Carson." She waves to them and they are all surprised she's your girlfriend.

"Yea whatever Prince Charming." They all pat your shoulder and laugh. You turn to your girlfriend. She smiles at you and you guys continue to enjoy the family party.

Few hours pass and you are hugged up with Abby's girlfriend; Cassidy. They've been together since highschool so she's been part of the family.

She's sharing memories about you when you were younger the whole time. Sabrina didn't know how to feel. A decent amount of this she knew nothing about it.

She now understood why you had the nickname Nike. Only brand you would wear. Doing every dare someone dared you to do. Before doing it you would always say "just do it."
