You are messing around in the gym with Azzi, KK and Ice. They have practice soon. You met them during freshmen orientation for the athletes. Paige comes running into the gym. Summer practice.

"Y/n come on we have practice." Kiyomi and Royalty call you.

"Ight." You move to the bleacher and grab your stuff.

"You gotta finish on a make." Nika tells you after bouncing the ball to you. You launch it backwards from half court. You run to the door before it goes through the hoop.

"Of course I know the rule. See you guys later." You leave out to track practice. Paige is starstruck and in awh of you. She's definitely going to find out who you are later. At least double check.

Geno calls them in so they can start practice.

"Jay I'm fine....." You talk to your brother while in the ice bath.

"I'm just checking in. You my baby sister at college. Away from home for the first time."

"I literally went to the Olympics." You roll your eyes at him. You message Abby, Masai and Sydney back. They are asking about you performing in some of the open meets.

"Yea with Mom. Them little school trips don't count. I mean literally not living at home."

"I get it. I'll call you later. I have to call my agent and Ma."

"You better call me right back young lady." You roll your eyes this man is too much. Paige walks in with Aaliyah and Ashlynn. They return equipment they got from the trainers.

"Paige where is Nika, Azzi, KK, Ice and Aubrey? You know all of you are suppose to be here before and after practice." Paige shrugs and tries to run off.

"I'll go get them....."

"Bueckers in here. You know the drill." The blonde sighs and grabs a foam roller. The trainer tells the other two to get the others. You laugh to yourself as you act like you aren't paying attention to the room. She settles nearby you.

"You look familiar."

"Probably seen me on tv."

"Uhm I bet. Paige Bueckers."

"Y/n Green." Her mouth drops open. She keeps forgetting Jalen has a little sister. "And now you realize you and my brother are friends. Or that I'm an Olympian. Either or."

"Make that both. Holy shit I didn't know you committed to UConn. I thought you would've committed to Kentucky."

"I was but I wanted to start my legacy somewhere else." Everyone thought you were going to follow your friends that you did track with since the start of time. You are their little sister.

"Far from Home aren't you?" You shrug and she laughs.

"I'm bad at geography." She laughs even harder at your comment. Soon enough your timer goes off. "Finally fuck." You stand up as your phone rings again. You decline it. Only to get another call.

"Someone special?" Paige asks as you roll your eyes and wrap up in a towel.

"No my overbearing brother. Here." You answer it and hand it to Paige.

"Hey JG."

"Sup buckets. Where my lil sister?"

"Tired of you. She just got out the ice bath." Paige watches you disappear. Probably to change clothes. "Why didn't you tell me she committed here?"
