It has been a week. You never left Indiana. Laying in bed and crying once everything it you again. You got cheated on. Not even knowing how long.

You don't have the heart to block her on social media so people don't notice but you blocked her number. She continues reaching out to you all different kinds of ways and it hurts just as bad.

You decide today you have to finally drive back. Back to Iowa. While driving you out everything on DND. Playing some of the saddest music you could. Until you settled on Billie's newest album to be on repeat. Replay Skinny and The Greatest.

Kate keeps calling and you keep declining. She hasn't heard from you or Caitlin in days. It's odd to say but she's more worried about you.

Another persistent caller is Paige. You make the decision that the next one that calls you'll pick up. Your phone rings again. And the lucky winner is....

"Hey P."

"Hey uhhmmm why can't I see you?"

"I'm driving." She frown. You are being short with her. Plus you didn't call her P Boogers. You always call her that.

"I thought Caitlin plays tomorrow." You take a deep breath.

"She does but I need to get back in the gym. So I'm heading back to Iowa." You want to cry when Kate's messages come in pleading for you to call her.

"You are one of the greatest players in college basketball you don't need to be in the gym."

"I do. I need to lift weighs instead of cookies." Paige laughs and makes a mental note for herself. You are a cookie girl.

"Well by any chance can you take a few more days off?"

"Why?" You disconnect your phone from the CarPlay so she can see you. Her smile grows once she sees you. You look sleepy but beautiful nonetheless.

"Come to Chicago." You think about it. "Please. Me you and Azzi. 4 days if you want to drive down tomorrow instead of tonight." She pouts.

"Fine but me and Azzi are going on a book date."

"Yes." She cheers and you smile.

"Bueckers what are you doing?" You hear Azzi yell at her.

"I'm packing."

"Yea and talking to yourself. Who's on the phone?"

"P Boogers you aren't even packed yet?"

"No she is not." Azzi says as she picks the phone up looking at you. "We are suppose to leave for the airport tonight."

"I'll be packed."

"This is all she has." Azzi shows her suitcase and you shake your head.

"Boogers pack your bags then you can call me back."

"You promise?"

"Yes now go pack. Then you can save me from the rest of my boring car ride."

"Bet." She ends the call. Azzi shakes her head at her. "What?"

"Way to be subtle."

"It's not like I was flirting."

"You promise?" Azzi mocks Paige and leaves the room. Paige sighs is she being to forward.

"Finally fuck I've been calling for days. Why won't you or Y/n pick up the phone?" Kate says as she's walking. She settles on her couch and looks in the phone. "Why are you in the gym this late? You have a game tomorrow."
