Kara POV

I snap awake from the nightmare I just had. Ugh that was scary. Lena reaches out and grabs my hand. "Baby, you okay?" I nod my head even though I know she can't see me, because her eyes are closed. I decide to pinch myself to make sure I'm awake. Thanks to Lena nerdy work I can do that.

"Kar." Lena worries from my silences. She looks at me intently trying to read me. "Want to talk about it?"

"Lee promise to never leave me." I demand more than ask.

"I could never Kara, why?" I take a quick glance at the clock. Geez she has to be up soon.

"It's nothing let's go back to sleep." I attempt to pull the cover over my head and lay down, but swiftly Lena stops me.

"Kara talk now."

"Lee I'm okay I promise."

"Fine then kale is for dinner for the rest of the week." Lena says and starts to lay down. I quickly stop her at the threat she just made.

"Okay. Okay no need to be so threatening." She laughs at me, but quickly focuses on me thinking.

"Potstickers are next if you don't start talking." I look appalled at Lena. I love those, but not as much as I love Lena. Yet now that I'm thinking about it I'm hungry. I groan and give her my puppy dog face. She quickly kisses my pout lips. "Talk please love."

"Fine I had a nightmare goodnight." I lay down quickly after saying that, but Lena quickly pulls me back up. Ugh I just don't want her to see how dumb it was.

"A nightmare about what?" The CEO questions.

"You're going to find it stupid." I whine.

"No I won't my love I pinky promise." Lena holds up her pinky. I interlock out pinky and we seal the promise with a kiss. We sit in silence for a few minute then I look up to see green orbs watching me carefully.

"You left me. Out of completely no where. Everything was happy. We were at your office eating potstickers and well your kale salad. Spending time with the Superfriends. Then you slept over. Lena you used me and left. Left to only Rao knows where, because I wake up to a note saying 'I can't do this anymore.' You broke me." I confess to her as tears start sliding down my face. Voicing it out into the world hurts so much more.

The Luthor I've come to love in more ways than one pulls me to her and comforts me. It drives me crazy that she is the only one I let see me this vulnerable. I mean Alex and Eliza occasionally, but nothing like this.

"Kara I promise you I would never. I might have the Luthor last name, but I could never be that cold hearted to the love of my life. I love you more than life itself and I will always. No matter what, because we are in this together. As long as you want me around and continue to tell me how beautiful I am every morning, even when I'm not. I won't ever leave I promise."

"Cross your heart and hope to die?" I whisper.

"Cross my heart and I hope to die." Lena laughs out.

"I love you Lena Luthor."

"I love you Kara Zor-El."

"Good so you want good news first or bad?" I raise my eyebrow at her. "Okay bad news. Well we're going to be late to work. Good news I'm about to show you how much I love you." Lena straddles me and start kissing my jaw line.
