Our episode opens up with Oscar waking up only to notice that the others are already awake and training. Oscar then asks sensei what's going on followed by Nobu telling Oscar that he's late for kendo lessons and asks him why he's still wearing his pajamas. Oscar then shrugs and tells sensei that he just felt like sleeping in today much to the shock of his fellow rangers. sensei then shakes his head in disappointment and lectures Oscar that a samurai cannot afford to be lazy, especially if an Akuma were to attack. he says that a samurai must be alert at all times and ready for battle. Nigel then assures sensei that he's always like this as he doesn't take anything seriously. Oscar then tells Nigel that he's such a party pooper before pantsing him in front of everybody, the girls covering their eyes while Oscar laughs only for Nigel to smack him on the head repeatedly with his shinai until sensei pokes their pressure points and tells both of them to stop. after that, sensei tells the rangers that maybe they deserve a break and tells the five to come with him to his favorite sushi restaurant: Bulk's sushi spot, which disgusts Oscar as he hates sushi, even though he's never tried it. we cut to Akuma palace where lord Ashura notices that the rangers are busy leaving stone canyon vulnerable before ordering Octomancer to summon another monster for him. he then summons Fistor, whom of which Nocturna finds unimpressive as he's just a monster with really big fists. Ashura then tells her to watch her tongue before Ashura orders Fistor to destroy the rangers for him. after that, we cut to sensei and the five rangers walking into the restaurant where they are greeted by the owner of the restaurant, who is none other than Bulk of mighty morphin' power rangers fame. they are then greeted by Bulk's protege Spike, who is skull's son and works as a waiter at the restaurant. Nobu introduces Bulk to his five students and the six sit down at the table and are served Bulk's sushi sampler much to Oscar's disgust, however a massive tremor causes the sushi to splatter in Spike's face and Oscar looks out the window to see Fistor attacking the city. sensei warns Oscar not to go after the monster alone but he doesn't listen and morphs to fight the monster by himself only to get badly injured by Fistor's elastic fists. the other rangers then run out the restaurant and morph (much to Spike's excitement as he's their biggest fan) and get him out of there. after they bring the injured Oscar to base, sensei tends to his wounds while scolding him for being so reckless. after sensei leaves the room after he's been all bandaged up, we cut to a montage where Oscar trains and pushes his body to the limits while taking breaks to eat pizza and play Pac-man on his PSP in-between until Ava walks in and asks him what the heck he's doing. Oscar then tells Ava that he's preparing for a rematch with that elastic-fist monster and asks Ava why she even bothers with a lazy goof-off like him, and she tells him it's because he's always made her laugh, ever since they were kids. he then asks how that's going to make him feel any better, and Ava tells him not to listen to what other people have to say about him and just be himself. after that, we cut back to Akuma palace where lord Ashura scolds Fistor for not finishing off the samurai rangers when he had the chance but Fistor promises that he can destroy them next time. after that, we cut back to the dojo where sensei alerts the rangers of the gap sensor going off again and the four head off to confront the monster. sensei then goes to check on Oscar only to notice that he's missing which makes him suspicious. after that, we cut to the four rangers arriving on the scene to morph and confront the monster. and much to the surprise of the rangers, Oscar leaps in and tells the four "he's mine" before morphing (cue Shinkenger episode 3 fight). after the monster is defeated, Nocturna shows up and uses her shamisen to make Fistor grow. the rangers then summon their origami Zords to fight the monster (cue Shinkenger episode 3 megazord fight). after that, we cut back to the dojo where sensei scolds Oscar for being reckless and stupid a second time, however Kenji comes to Oscar's defense and tells him that he managed to hold his own against an Akuma which is no easy feat and our episode ends with sensei and the rangers throwing a victory party for Oscar at Bulk's sushi spot followed by Oscar trying sushi for the first time and liking it.
