Episode 24: Tritor's master plan

Our episode opens up with General Tritor looking down on the earth from the bridge of his ship monologing to himself about how all his followers including Predatox, Vrak, Lurker, and Sasquatcho have all fallen by the hands of the power rangers, all the while Cera is busy looking at a glass case with a green alien moth in it before telling the Eltarian general that at least he still has her. Tritor turns around to look Cera straight in the eye, reminding her that her most recent plan against the rangers failed, not to mention all those times her and her boyfriend attempted to overthrow him. he then sees the glass container with the moth in it asking Cera what that is, followed by Cera explaining to him that this specimen was a native of her home planet that was ravaged by the armada, it was a gift to her from Vrak. Tritor scoffs at this, telling her "Vrak was a traitor, he deserved his fate" as he turns his back on her all the while Cera sheds a tear. Tritor then opens the cocoon by pressing his hand on a scanner that opens the device, telling Cera "but no matter, with the power of the cocoon I will become so powerful that I won't need minions, it's about time I deal with the rangers myself" all the while Cera smirks behind his back as she opens the glass case setting the moth free that lands on Tritor's shoulder without him noticing. after General Tritor enters the cocoon we hear him scream in pain and agony while Cera watches before he emerges as a humanoid moth monster and looks at himself before electrocuting Cera with force lightning exclaiming "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!?" Cera then gets back up and tells Tritor "I let the moth into the coccoon without you knowing, causing your DNA to be merged with the insect, turning you into the monster that I knew you always were, It's what you deserve after what you did to Vrak" General Tritor then picks Cera up by the neck and tells her to fix this now, however she tells him she can't as the mutation is permanent. General Tritor then drops her after feeling a sudden surge of power within him, saying that he feels powerful and this new form might not be so bad after all before leaving the throne room, Cera asking Tritor where he's going, and Tritor tells her "to pay a visit to the power rangers, what else?" before we cut to the rangers chilling out in the schoolyard talking about how awesome they were in their recent defeat of the mutants before Fat Jack and Skinny Mack eavesdrop asking the five what they're talking about. Jamie covers for his teammates telling the two it's about a new Power rangers videogame that just came out, with Fat Jack and Skinny Mack intrigued, telling him that the two of them have started an official Power Rangers fan-club as a sign of gratitude for all the times they've saved the world and that they're looking for potential members. Jamie asks them "just how many members do you have now?" with Fat Jack pointing to Skinny Mack saying "me, him and Mr. Fowler" followed by all five of them exclaiming "Mr. Fowler!?" followed by Mr. Fowler showing up wearing a Mighty Morphin' power rangers shirt and cap, with Austin asking "you're a fan of the Power Rangers?" Mr. Fowler puts his arms around Fat Jack and Skinny Mack, telling them "don't act so surprised kids, I've been a Power rangers fan since '93, but that was way before your time" all the while the five of them have awkward facial expressions after learning that their own teacher was a closet Power Rangers fanboy. Fowler then hands the five invitations to the grand opening to the Angel Grove power rangers museum, saying that he heard there will be a meet-n-greet with one of the real power rangers all the while the five look at each other with concern. after that, we cut to the five rangers arriving at the command center with Jamie asking Alpha to get Robo Knight, he needs a favor to ask him. Robo Knight then transforms into robot mode, asking the rangers what seems to be the emergency. Jamie awkwardly explains to Robo Knight that there's a power rangers fan club who'll be attending the power rangers museum and they're expecting a live appearance from one of the rangers saying that he wants Robo Knight to attend the event. Robo Knight asks why him and not one of the others and Lance explains that the five of them are preoccupied with defending the earth and the five of them have been doing this before he arrived. Austin then pats Robo Knight on the shoulder telling him "come on, it'll be great. imagine all the cute fangirls you'll get to meet" much to the confusion of robo knight who cocks his head while the girls both shake their heads in dismay before we cut to the insectified General Tritor arriving on Earth and walks through the streets of Angel Grove causing objects around him to start disintegrating while people start running and screaming in panic. after that, we cut to the five dragging Robo Knight out to the grand opening of the power rangers museum in Angel Grove park with excited fans a many attending the event including Fat Jack and Skinny Mack along with Mr. Fowler who eagerly await the cutting of the ribbon, Robo Knight watching from the crowd asking the rangers what he's supposed to do with Jamie patting Robo Knight on the back telling Robo Knight to just act natural walk around the museum and say hi to people. Zador then contacts the rangers informing them that General Tritor has been spotted in downtown Angel Grove and that he's now more powerful than ever thanks to the cocoon meaning they have to go stop him now before he causes total destruction of the Earth. Robo Knight insists on joining the rangers, but Lance tells him that they've got this and that he should just stay at the museum and let them handle this. the five rangers then run off and morph before summoning their megaforce cycles for them to hop on and drive off while Robo Knight watches on before we cut to Tritor standing on a rooftop as he starts making entire buildings disintegrate with just a thought, monologing about how soon this entire city will be reduced to ashes. however the five megaforce rangers arrive on the scene to confront General Tritor, the five shocked and horrified by his newly-mutated body, Austin joking by saying "great, now he's even more uglier than he was before!" Tritor tells the rangers not to underestimate him, saying "this new form given to me by the cocoon has made me powerful enough to level cities with a mere thought, do not underestimate me ranger" followed by the five rangers summoning their guardian armor to engage Tritor leading to an original footage fight scene of the powered-up rangers fighting the insectified General Tritor who mops the floor with the rangers knocking them out of their guardian armor one by one followed by Tritor using a planet strike attack that sends the rangers falling off the building, as the five get up they are forced to watch their golden armor headders be disintegrated into dust by Tritor's power, General Tritor laughing telling the rangers that they should have heeded his warning before we cut to Fat Jack, Skinny Mack, and Mr. Fowler touring the power rangers museum as the three start geeking out at all the exhibits featuring weapons, morphers, and other artifacts from past seasons on display. Fat Jack and Skinny Mack then bump into Robo Knight who turns around with the two recognizing him as that robot ranger from before, remembering him from "last laugh". Robo Knight then introduces himself as Robo Knight of the power rangers megaforce, followed by Mr. Fowler telling the two "told you we'd get to see a real life power ranger" as he shakes hands with the robotic warrior, followed by Fat Jack and Skinny Mack asking if they can get a picture with him followed by a montage of the three taking pictures with Robo Knight in various positions. after that we cut to the command center where we see the five rangers all being bandaged up by Alpha with Lance explaining to Zador that they all took a serious beating from General Tritor, with Jamie saying that his new form is even stronger than when they last crossed paths with Brenda saying "he cut off our access to the guardian armor, we were lucky to make it out alive". Zador then encourages the rangers to keep on fighting, saying that these may seem like dark times but they must remain vigilant if they are to defeat General Tritor. Austin feels worried about Robo Knight, saying that he hopes he's okay. we then cut to Robo Knight at the power rangers museum doing just fine as he's going around signing autographs from fans and high-fiving a young kid showing that he's doing just fine, all the while he's ignoring his robo morpher vibrating as it was left behind on one of the benches in the museum by accident. Lance tells the other rangers that he's getting no response, so they're gonna have to make do without him. Alpha then informs the rangers that General Tritor's been spotted in the abandoned warehouse district, followed by the five rangers morphing before we cut to the rangers on their megaforce cycles driving through the abandoned warehouse district where we see General Tritor telling the rangers to hit him with their best shot. the five then launch their headders off their bikes at Tritor only for him to swat them all away with the wave of a hand before making their bikes disintegrate forcing the rangers to hop off and charge at Tritor on foot (cue Goseiger episode 15 fight) with Tritor knocking all the rangers around like ragdolls before we cut to Fat Jack, Skinny Mack, and Mr. Fowler geeking out at an exhibit showing the massive severed head of the white tigerzord that was destroyed by Rito Revolto back in 1995, Fat Jack saying "oh my gosh I could just touch it!" only for the security guard to tell them no touching only for Robo Knight to show up and scare the security guard away allowing Fat Jack to touch it without anyone noticing, exclaiming "I'm never washing this hand again!" before high-fiving both Skinny Mack and Mr. Fowler. we then cut back to General Tritor mopping the floor with the rangers hitting them with another planet strike that knocks them onto the ground telling the rangers that resistance is futile and that they should surrender this planet to him if they know what's good for them. however Lance gets back up refusing to surrender and charges at Tritor dragon sword in hand and the two lock weapons sword-to-axe. however Lance is easily knocked down by Tritor and is about to finish him off however the other four rangers come to Lance's aid blocking Tritor's axe with their own weapons followed by the five taking their final stand against Tritor before we cut back to Robo Knight walking through the museum remembering that he left his robo morpher somewhere as he searches the place and comes across the statue of the mighty morphin' team located at the museum entrance with the museum curator explaining to the robot that those were Earth's first power rangers, Robo Knight looking up at the statue in awe of this monument to Earth's previous protectors before we cut to Fat Jack and Skinny Mack drooling over the Quantum Defender inside a glass case while Mr. Fowler sits on a nearby bench unable to keep up with these kids where he comes across Robo Knight's morpher. we then cut back to the rangers's fight with General Tritor where the five get flung away with a swing of the mutated Eltarian general's axe followed by the five forming the megaforce blaster to hit General Tritor with everything they've got, however it's no use as he shrugs off the blast like it's nothing and deflects it back at the rangers, however the power rangers still refuse to back down as the five charge through the explosion and switch to attacking with their individual weapons in rapid succession too fast for Tritor to react all the while Fat Jack, Skinny Mack, and Mr. Fowler walk up to Robo Knight with Mr. Fowler telling Robo Knight that he found something he thinks might belong to the metalling warrior and hands the morpher to Robo Knight who opens it to find a voice message from Lance asking Robo Knight if he's okay, Robo Knight wondering if the rangers are in trouble., Robo Knight telling them that he must go saying that the rangers need his help. Fat Jack and Skinny Mack both comically salute Robo Knight telling him how it was an honor to be able to meet him followed by Robo Knight walking out of the museum before walking over to the bus stop and sitting next to a kid playing games on his phone, the kid asking the robot what the heck he's doing here followed by Robo Knight saying that the power rangers are in danger and he needs to go help followed by Robo Knight boarding the first bus to arrive freaking out the passengers. we then cut back to the rangers finally managing to bring General Tritor to his knees, however the alien general suddenly starts laughing much to the confusion of the rangers. a bunch of Zombats surround General Tritor who eats one causing him to grow giant. Tritor then orders Cera to prepare the ship for descension, followed by a vengeful Cera sitting on Tritor's throne to fly the ship down towards Earth's atmosphere, Cera saying "this is for you, Vrak". the giant Tritor explains to the rangers that as the speak Cera is now flying the ship down to Earth where she'll crash it into their precious Angel Grove causing a massive explosion that'll take the entire city population down with her. Molly tells the others this is bad, followed by Brenda calling out General Tritor telling him that sacrificing one of his own is hitting a new low even for him. Tritor tells the rangers that her life means nothing to him, as she's just a means to an end followed by the rangers spotting Tritor's ship slowly flying downward towards the city followed by the rangers summoning the zords to form the guardian megazord followed by Alpha sending in the Datazord while Jamie summons the ostrich zord to form the Datazord heli mode, Lance telling Alpha to use the Datazord to stop the ship from crashing into the city while they deal with Tritor (cue Goseiger episode 15 megazord fight). Tritor easily mops the floor with the guardian megazord easily knocking it down while the Datazord flies around Tritor's ship hitting it from all sides, however it's no use Alpha telling the rangers over intercom that she can't get the Datazord to leave a single dent in it. Lance tells Alpha to hang in there followed by the guardian megazord firing all its headders at Tritor who slowly opens his wings letting out a blast of energy that disintegrates all their headders while Cera activates the ship's defense systems elecrocuting the datazord disabling it and separating it from the ostrich zord, Tritor exclaiming "It's too late rangers, you've already lost!" as the ship flies closer and closer to the city, Brenda telling the othere "we've got to do something before it's too late!" followed by Tritor blasting the guardian megazord with a bold of lightning from his fingertips. the rangers are knocked out cold, Tritor telling the rangers that soon the mothership will crash into the earth, and then bye-bye Angel Grove. meanwhile Robo Knight riding the bus looks out the window to see the ship flying towards the city below, Robo Knight saying "good luck rangers, and may the power protect you". we then cut to the rangers in the megazord cockpit wake up to see General Tritor slowly open his wings again while the ship comes closer and closer to colliding with Earth, prompting the rangers to steer the megazord back on its feet. Zador then tells the rangers to hold on as he's sending in the cavalry, followed by a giant card-shaped portal opening up in front of the megazord sending every zord headder flying directly at Tritor destroying his wings, followed by Alpha informing the rangers that she regained control of the Datazord. the rangers then combine all their zords to form the guardian ultrazord to fling General Tritor into the mothership, Cera closing her eyes saying that soon she and Vrak will be re-united as both General Tritor and his ship go up in flames destroying both once and for all. after that, the rangers then walk down the streets of Angel Grove where they see a bus pull up to them and out steps Robo Knight who tells the rangers that he's finally here, saying that he hopes he's not too late. Lance tells Robo Knight that they already took care of General Tritor and Cera, saying both of them are long gone with Jamie telling the robotic warrior "told you we could take care of evil on our own". Robo Knight tells the rangers that he had quite the adventure himself and that he can't wait to tell them all about it followed by the six walking into the sunset. however we then cut to the wreckage of Tritor's ship where we see a badly-injured and barely-alive Cera open her eyes to see the same white robot from "fall of Vrak" walk towards her and offer her his hand ending our episode on a cliffhanger.
