Guest ranger of this episode: Jen Scotts (Time force pink ranger)
Our episode opens up with Vrak's underwater base where we see Simi ask Vrak "so what you doing? oo-oo!" as she watches Vrak tinkering with what appear to be the remains of Chronodrone from the season 1 episode "to the future and back" Vrak explaining to Simi that he recovered the remains of this robot from the site of the Legendary battle, saying that this robot was built with time travel capabilities and that he plans on repurposing the remains to create a time machine to go back in time and kill those pesky Teenagers with attitude before they become power rangers, Vrak ripping the damaged core out of Chronodrone's lifeless shell as he is being watched by a mysterious woman in black wearing sunglasses. Vrak then plugs the damaged core into the machine, the core restoring itself before Vrak tells Simi to flip the switch Simi going "yes sir, oo-oo!" as she flips the switch causing the machine to open up a portal in time bringing a previous monster out of the past and into the present: Zircuit from the first season, Zircuit asking what's going on. Vrak welcomes Zircuit to the future, one year later saying that he needs his help to go back in time to destroy the power rangers before they become power rangers. Zircuit exclaims "that's a great idea!" as the mystery woman freaks out realizing that this is worse than she thought. Vrak tells Simi to keep an eye on the base while he and Zircuit are gone, Simi saluting and saying "aye-aye boss, oo-oo!" followed by Vrak and Zircuit leaving through the portal prompting the mystery woman to escape the base to avoid being spotted by Simi. we then cut to Mr. Fowler giving his class a tour of the Power Rangers museum on a field trip, seeing the grand opening of the newest exhibit dedicated to the Time Force rangers with artifacts provided by the Silver Guardians, Fat Jack and Skinny Mack along with Mr. Fowler gawking at artifacts such as pieces of the Clock tower, parts of the time ship, chrono sabers and chrono blasters, and even a display case containing a deactivated Circuit (which Jamie geeks out at) Austin asking Jamie "wouldn't it be cool if we could step into ranger history for real?" Jamie tells Austin "it would, but we don't have time travel technology like these rangers did. think of all the things we could do" Brenda interjects saying "we could stop the Armada's takeover of earth before it begins!" followed by Austin telling her "we could also save Zador" as he has flashbacks to watching Robo Knight's spirit walk away with Zador's in "All hail prince Vekar" only for Jamie to tell Austin "Even if we had time travel technology it wouldn't be a good idea. altering history could have disastrous consequences" while Lance and Molly look at each other before Molly tells them to pipe down, telling them that Armada spies may be watching. Lance thanks Molly for diffusing the conversation, saying that he's already had bad experiences with time travel (referencing the episode "to the future and back") meanwhile the mysterious sunglasses-wearing woman in black from before overhears their conversation before approaching the rangers, telling them "what if I told you there was a way for you to go back in time?" Fat Jack and Skinny Mack looking at each other in confusion with Mr. Fowler exclaiming "great googly moogly, who are you?" followed by the woman taking her shades off revealing it none other than Jen Scotts the pink Time Force ranger causing Jamie to exclaim "you're Jen Scotts from Time Force!" Jen holding up her Time Force badge saying "so it seems you've heard of me" while Fat Jack and Skinny Mack comically faint. we then cut to the Sky ship where Orion, Alpha 9, and Polly are shocked to see the five rangers bringing Jen aboard the Sky ship Orion asking the five who their new stowaway is. Jen introduces herself saying that she's from the year 3000 and that she came back in time on behalf of Time Force to help this era's team of rangers. she explains that she has uncovered a plot from Vrak to go back in time and kill them before they become rangers. Alpha 9 exclaims "ai-yi-yi, that could end up destroying the space-time continuum as we know it!" Jen tells Alpha that it's all the more reason why they need to find Vrak, Jen telling Orion that she heard Eric gave him the Q-Rex mark 2 suggesting that they use it to track down Vrak through history, Jamie exclaiming "Just like how the Time Force rangers chased down Ransik and his band of mutants through history!". Orion agrees with Jen's plan, the six rangers exclaiming "It's morphin' time, let's go legendary!" morphing into their ranger forms and hopping inside the Q-rex's cockpit. Orion pulls out a Time Force pink key (for Jen, obviously) and plugs it into the Q-rex's control console activating a portal in time allowing for the ship to jump back into the past, Jen watching from the deck of the Sky ship with Alpha and Polly saying "good luck rangers, may the power protect you" we then cut to the Q-rex arriving in the past with the five Legend force rangers (now in civilian mode) leaping out of the zord to investigate, walking around a remote forest wondering if they've landed in the correct time period. Jamie then says "hey guys, look!" with the others running up to a cliffside to look down at an army of Samurai in heavy armor riding on horseback against Lord Ashura and his army of Marauders, Jamie recognizing the one in red armor exclaiming "The Grand Shogun, we just landed in ancient Japan, 300 years ago during the Fateful War between the Shiba Clan samurai and the Akuma clan! we've landed in the wrong time period!" only for them to be confronted by Octomancer and a platoon of Marauders and Croclams, Octomancer exclaiming "And who may you strangers be!" Lance crosses his arms and exclaims "we're not strangers, we're rangers!" prompting the five to morph and do their roll call (cue Gokaiger episode 40 fight) the rangers then fight off the Akuma footsoldiers destroying them one by one before doing an all-Disney era red ranger morph as they shout "RPM get in gear!, Overdrive Accelerate!, SPD emergency!, Jungle beast spirit unleashed!, Magical source mystic force!" (this one's for you, Disney era fans): Lance morphs into RPM red, Austin morphs into Overdrive red, Jamie morphs into SPD red, Molly morphs into Jungle Fury red, and Brenda morphs into Mystic Force red. Austin, Jamie, Molly, and Brenda combine their attacks to destroy the two croclams while Lance sends Octomancer flying with a Street saber strike before Jen contacts the rangers over intercom telling them to get out of there before they screw the timeline over. Lance says "got it, Jen" and the five revert back to Legend force, Octomancer exclaiming "hey, where are you going?" as the five teleport back into the Q-rex with Orion asking the core five "so did you find Vrak?" and Molly replying with "No, but we did fight a guy with a squid for a head. what a weirdo" Jen then appears on the Q-rex's computer screen and suggests to the rangers that the best way to find Vrak would be to track him through time anomalies. Orion says "good idea Jen, there's an anomaly that goes just a year back. maybe that's where he went" after the Q-rex exits the time portal the five Legend force rangers teleport onto the ground standing atop a cliffside where they see none other than the Legendary war from the end of season 1, Lance spotting his past self in the red megaforce suit looking back at the Legend force team asking "who are they?" before the Legend force team teleport away (this brief moment explains the early bird cameo from the Legend force rangers in the episode "to the future and back") the five returning to the Q-rex with Lance saying "Didn't find Vrak, only my younger self" prompting Orion to pilot the Q-rex even further back in time. we then cut to six-year-old Brenda sitting with her dad at the Angel Grove hospital where Mr. Cho gets the bad news from the doctor that his wife has died of cancer. little Brenda starts crying before running outside with her dad shouting "Brenda wait!" while the six rangers in their civilian forms hiding behind a car in the parking lot watch this, Brenda feeling deeply sorry for her younger self. Orion says "I'll go talk to her" Orion sits on the curb next to six-year-old Brenda asking her what's wrong. she then says "I miss my mom" Orion hugs little Brenda telling her "I know how it feels to lose someone you care about, all too well. but things will get better in time" Brenda asks him "how do you know?" Orion replies with "because Time heals all wounds" making future Brenda smile. however Vrak and Zircuit arrive on the scene to kill the little girl Zircuit aiming his gatling gun arm scaring poor little Brenda who hides behind Orion who whips out his morpher and morphs into the Silver Legend force ranger before tackling the monster so hard it knocks both of them into some Sentai footage (cue Gokaiger episode 40 second fight) Orion hitting Zircuit with a final strike from his Legendary trident, only for it to bounce right off the robot's armor. he then morphs into Samurai gold exclaiming "Samurai code, power of gold!" before hitting Zircuit from all sides with his barracuda blade. Orion then morphs into Zeo gold exclaiming "Gold ranger power!" firing a barrage of blasts from his golden power staff the ensuing explosion knocking both opponents over. we then cut to Vrak getting ready to strike down young Brenda telling her "sorry kid, but in the future where I'm from you and your friends grow up to become a thorn in my side so I can't let you live" as he raises his sword only for the five legend force rangers to morph behind the car before engaging Vrak who morphs into his dark red ranger form leading to an original footage fight between dark ranger Vrak and the five legend force rangers forcing Vrak to retreat. little Brenda then exclaims "Power Rangers? I've never seen rangers like you" future Brenda then says "we're um... a new ranger team" Lance then tells Brenda's younger self to go find some place safe and she rushes to her dad to hug him. the core five legend force rangers get contacted by Orion who tells them that he needs help dealing with a monster here. Lance says "Right on it" before teleporting. the five then arrive at Orion's location Orion telling the other rangers that now's the perfect time to finish Zircuit off once and for all. Zircuit gets back up and exclaims "you rangers can't get rid of me that easily!" Brenda then asks "Isn't he one of Gigatron's robots that we fought one year ago?" Austin saying "yeah didn't we destroy him already?" Lance saying "doesn't matter, we'll just dismantle this robot again" Orion concurs, saying "In honor of Jen, let's go Time Force!" the Legend force rangers then whip out their Time Force ranger keys and shout "Time for Time Force!" the six morphing into the Time Force rangers (cue Gokaiger episode 40 tribute fight). the main five then attack Zircuit with their chrono sabers (along with Orion using the Quantum defender in blade mode) Zircuit then gets angry and fires a missile at the rangers, of which Austin, Molly, and Orion deflect from blasts with their V2, V4, and Quantum defender blaster mode followed by Lance, Jamie, and Brenda leaping into the air to hit Zircuit with a Time strike. the six then morph back into Legend force to summon the Legendary cannon while Orion goes gold mode to finish off Zircuit with a final strike combo. Vrak watches this from atop a hill and chuckles, snapping his fingers to summon the Zombats making Zircuit grow giant. Orion then contacts Jen and tells her to send in the Q-Rex (cue Gokaiger episode 40 zord fight) Orion attacking Zircuit using all three modes of the Q-Rex mark 2: first with the drill mode, then the dino mode, and finally the Q-Rex Megazord. Orion then says "this is for you, Mike" plugging the Magna Defender key into the control console causing the Q-Rex Megazord to hit Zircuit with a rapid spinning attack before finishing off Zircuit once and for all with the good ol' triple drill strike. meanwhile Jen sneaks into Vrak's underwater base and destroys Vrak's time machine with a spare Chrono blaster she had in her pocket causing Vrak to be teleported back to the present much to his frustration while Jen escapes, Vrak cursing the name of the power rangers. we then cut to the Q-Rex returning to the present day with the rangers reuniting with Jen on the Sky ship where she informs the Legend Force rangers that she destroyed Vrak's time machine, not only that but Time Force are hard at work repairing whatever time anomalies that were left behind meaning that the timeline is now back to normal. Orion shakes Jen's hand, thanking her for her help with Polly on Orion's shoulder exclaiming "thank you, thank you! sqwak!" before we cut to an Armada ship somewhere in Deep Space where we see a royal guard kneeling before a shadowy figure sitting on a throne. said royal guard speaks, saying "My liege, Earth's resistance has been pushing back harder against our occupation against with each passing day, our invasion force has been quickly depleted and we've lost so much occupied territory on that backwater planet thanks to Earth's power rangers" the shadowy figure says "I've faced and defeated many rangers in my lifetime" as he fondles a damaged red Prism ranger (Flashman) helmet in his hand. the royal guard then says "The power rangers of earth aren't like the ones you've faced on other planets, they're much stronger. they were the ones who took the life of your firstborn son the prince!" said shadowy figure then crushes the helmet in his hand, dropping the pieces to his feet. he then speaks, saying "Vekar, my firstborn, has fallen in battle against these rangers, and his brother Vrak has been thwarted by them countless times. It's about time I step in and squash the earthling resistance myself" the shadows figure gets off his throne and steps into the light revealing himself to be Emperor Malus, leader of the Galactic Armada ending our episode on a cliffhanger that sets up the final arc.
Of course I would have the Time Force theme playing during the Tribute fight, This episode is a tribute to one of the Best damn seasons ever guest-starring the best damn Pink Ranger ever (fight me!)
