Lance Taylor (red ranger)

the new kid in town, lance moved to Angel Grove with his mother and little brother Allen after his father left home to join the military. which is the source of lance's daddy issues, as he has never returned since. when he's not too busy being a brooding bad boy, lance has frequent dreams of a coming legend war, ever since a mysterious red ranger saved him from a burning building as a child that inspired him to do good and defend those who can't defend themselves.

Austin Rodriguez (blue ranger)

a member of Angel Grove high school's soccer team, Austin is cocky and full of himself and will chase anything with a skirt (namely Molly). he also butt heads with lance a lot over leadership, as well as teasing Jamie for being a nerd. his key gives him a new color, we're playing musical chairs with the powers to help better fit with the Gokaiger footage.

Jamie Meadows (green ranger)

the resident computer nerd, Jamie has a thirst for knowledge and is a wiz when it comes to machines, collaborating with alpha on various inventions such as the datazord, guardian ostrich zord, and ultimate command megazord. he and Austin don't get along that much, mostly because he mocks him too much for his lack of fighting skills. his key gives him a new color, we're playing musical chairs with the powers to help better fit with the Gokaiger footage.

Molly Hanson (yellow ranger)

a member of Angel Grove high's cheerleading squad, Molly is a no-nonsense tough girl with attitude. she is also Brenda's childhood friend, the two knowing each other since they were six. Austin also has a crush on her, even though she finds him annoying (or maybe she's just playing hard to get).

Brenda Cho (pink ranger)

an aspiring musician and singer, Brenda is often seen sitting in the schoolyard practicing on her guitar. she may have feelings for Lance, as she digs the bad boys. she has also been childhood friends with Molly since they were six. she also has daddy issues because her father is incredibly overprotective of her due to her mother passing away when she was five.

Orion Starskipper (silver ranger)

A swashbuckling space pirate from the planet Andrasia and captain of the Sky Ship along with his robot parrot Polly, Orion crash-lands on Earth after picking up the distress call from Zador to all the past rangers before his death along with the destruction of the command center by the Armada fleet. Zador crashes the skyship into Angel Grove harbor where he is found by the now-powerless Megaforce rangers. he then gives the five a place to stay inside the skyship along with handing them a treasure chest containing five legendary morphers plus the ranger keys, allowing them to transform into the Legend Force rangers (since they got their powers from a space pirate, it explains the pirate motif perfectly). during the early episodes he becomes sort of a surrogate mentor figure to the rangers who are still dealing with the loss of both Zador and Robo Knight as they travel from City to City every episode in search of the powers of the past rangers. he eventually becomes the Silver ranger during the "Silver lining" two-parter where he finds the silver ranger morpher inside an alien pod that crash-lands on Earth. Also of note: I slightly changed the design of Gold mode, replacing Robo knight's mask on the chest armor with that of the Titanium ranger.

From episode 2 onwards, the rangers get these spiffy new space pirate jackets. much like the uniforms from In Space, the legend force team only wear these outfits when they're either on board the sky ship or when they're on other planets. Orion doesn't get his jacket until AFTER he becomes the silver ranger in the episode "power of six".
