Episode 7: Power stranger

Our episode opens up with Lance's little brother Allen wearing a megaforce red costume playing power rangers with other kids his age in the playground, however he bumps into Fat Jack and Skinny Mack who proceed to tease and mock Allen whom tells the two "I'm not afraid of you, I'm the red ranger!" followed by the two pushing him and knocking him down. the two then laugh at the poor kid's misery, only for Lance to step in and defend his little brother telling the two of them that they've hit a new low picking on an innocent child. Fat Jack and Skinny Mack taunt Lance, asking him what they're gonna do about it all the while Allen hides behind his big brother's leg, Lance telling the two that he can fight the two of them with his eyes closed. Lance then closes his eyes before Fat Jack tries to throw a punch at Lance only for him to catch the bully's fist with one hand followed by Skinny Mack trying to sneak up at Lance from behind only for Lance to grab Fat Jack by the arm and throw him at Skinny Mack knocking him down, Lance then opens his eyes and stares down the two bullies who are both lying on the ground defeated, Lance telling the two to promise to never bully his little brother again. Fat Jack and Skinny Mack then both agree to his terms followed by the two comically running away like cowards. Allen then thanks his big bro for coming to his rescue, followed by Lance offering his little bro to come with him to get some refreshments at Ernie's. Lance then tells his little bro that he has some friends that he'd like him to meet and the two brothers hold hands and walk off. we then cut to Tritor's ship where we see general Tritor watching the two from the computer screen, promising the red ranger that soon his fate will be sealed. he then calls in Predatox whom enters the throneroom asking his master what he summoned him for. Tritor then tells Predatox that he has a job for him, to destroy the red ranger. Predatox is excited by this news, sharpening his bladed arms with anticipation telling general Tritor that he has waited so long for this moment, followed by Tritor telling Predatox that there is a catch: he will not go after the rangers alone, followed by Cera entering the room and presenting Predatox with the monster that'll accompany him to earth, the super-speedy dragonfly monster known as darter. Predatox doesn't get along with darter, as he finds him to be super-annoying but he accepts the job anyway as this might be his one and only chance to get his revenge on the red ranger. the two then exit the throneroom, followed by Cera telling general Tritor "I thought he'd never leave" followed by Tritor telling Cera that the very reason he sent Predatox to earth was to make him shut up about his petty grudge against the red ranger. we then cut to Predatox and darter walking through the hallways of the ship, darter asking Predatox why he hates the red ranger so much. Predatox then tells darter that the red ranger was the one responsible for his humiliation, having flashbacks to being roundhouse-kicked by Lance in "mega mission" followed by him telling darter that ever since he was bested by him in combat he became a laughing stock amongst Tritor's ranks for being the alien warrior who got beaten by a puny human. Predatox then bumps into Vrak, telling him to move over telling the alien prince that Tritor picked him to go after the rangers just to rub it in his face. once he leaves, Cera enters the hallway to tell Vrak that she can't believe Tritor actually sent him to go after the rangers followed by Vrak telling her that Predatox is a fool and so is Tritor, the two sharing a romantic moment with Vrak promising his love that once both of them are out of the way earth will be the armada's for the taking and she'll rule by his side. after that, we cut to Jamie in the command center helping Alpha construct five new vehicles for himself and the other rangers: five suped-up motorcycles with the rangers's headders on the front. however Jamie is interrupted by Lance who calls him and the other rangers to meet him at Ernie's as there's someone he wants them to meet. after that, we cut to Ernie's where we see Allen playing videogames in the arcade while Lance is sitting at a table while watching his little bro. the other four rangers then enter the building and sit next to Lance, all of them asking questions as to who this mystery person is. Lance then calls Allen over to the table and introduces his teammates to his little brother (Brenda finds him adorable wearing his red ranger costume), followed by the other four introducing themselves to Allen each telling him about themselves and their personalities, followed by Allen telling the others that he's a massive power rangers fanboy and that the red ranger's his favorite (of which makes Austin jealous). Ernie then arrives to serves the six smoothies. once the six start drinking up, they five rangers are then contacted by Zador and Alpha whom warn the rangers that a monster is attacking downtown Angel Grove. Austin, Jamie, Molly, and Brenda then rush out the door before teleporting, however before Lance can follow suit he is stopped by Allen who starts tugging at his big bro's shirt begging for him not to go. Lance then tells his little bro that he has to go saying that his friends need him, assuring him that he will be back before he knows it. Lance then hides and teleports before we cut to the four rangers confronting darter (cue Goseiger episode 6 first fight) before Lance arrives on the scene apologizing to his friends for being late only to be knocked down by darter and his super-speed. Predatox watches the fight, jealous that darter gets to have all the fun. Lance closes his eyes, sensing the monster's presence using the same technique he used on Fat Jack and Skinny Mack at the beginning of the episode before stopping darter in his tracks with a skyward slash injuring the monster's leg in the process while Predatox watches, seeing darter's injury as an opportunity for him to strike. before the five rangers can finish off darter, Predatox then arrives on the scene proclaiming "you're mine, red!" taking out all five rangers in one fell swoop. Allen then arrives on the scene to watch, horrified to see his heroes the power rangers all lying on the ground knocked out cold. Lance then gets back up, telling Predatox that he remembers him as the alien who attacked Angel Grove high. Predatox congratulates Lance for this, telling the red ranger that he still hasn't forgotten his humiliation and that he's ready for a rematch. Lance then readies his dragon sword, all the while Allen watches their Mexican standoff in awe. Lance then charges at Predatox sword in hand only for his attack to get blocked by Predatox's arm-blades, Predatox telling the red ranger that he's gonna enjoy this before swatting him away like a fly. Allen then shouts "NOOOOO!!!!!" getting both the rangers and the villains's attention, rushing in to stand in-between the rangers and Predatox, Lance being confused asking Allen what he's doing here. Allen then tells Predatox and darter that he won't let them hurt the power rangers saying that he won't tolerate bullies like them. Lance then tells Allen to get out of the way telling him it's too dangerous, followed by Allen asking the red ranger how he knows his name. Predatox then comments "aw, a mini-red ranger how adorable!" before raising his bladed arm ready to strike the poor child only for the other four rangers to come to the rescue, blasting Predatox with their headder blasters forcing him to retreat. darter then grabs allen before telling the rangers "catch me if you can!" before speeding off. Lance then feels defeated after losing his little brother to the monster, saying that he's too fast and they'll never be able to catch him. Jamie then places his hand on Lance's shoulder, telling him not to worry as him and Alpha were working on a project just for an occasion like this. five new power cards then pop out of the rangers's belt buckles followed by Lance telling Jamie that he's a real life saver. the five then activate their new power cards to summon their new megaforce cycles. all five rangers are in awe of their new bikes, Austin feeling up his commenting on his new sweet ride followed by Jamie explaining that the bikes are powered by their zord headders. the five rangers then hop on their bikes followed by Lance telling the team "come on rangers, let's take these puppies for a test drive!" and the five proceed to accelerate their bikes to maximum speed to chase after the monster. the five rangers on their bikes manage to catch up to the monster on the highway, Allen noticing the rangers on their bikes coming to save him telling darter that he's in big trouble now. the five then fire lasers out of their bikes while the monster tries to dodge them, however his leg injury causes him to slow down. Lance then tells the other rangers that he's slowing down and that they've got him in their sights before using the bikes's signature attack that launches the headders from the bikes knocking darter off his feet causing him to drop Allen. once darter retreats, the rangers stop their bikes and hop off to rush to Allen's aid. Lance asks Allen if he's okay, and Allen tells the five rangers that he is now thanks to them. Allen then proceeds to ask the red ranger how he knew his name, a question that makes all five rangers nervous. Lance then takes off his helmet, Brenda asking Lance what he's doing. Lance then assures his teammates that it's okay, followed by Allen fanboying over how his very own big brother is the red ranger, exclaiming "wait until mom hears about this!". Lance then stops his little bro in his tracks, telling him that his identity is supposed to be a secret and that no one can know that he's really a power ranger. Allen then assures Lance that his secret's safe with him. we then cut to Lance and allen taking a walk through the nearby forest, Allen asking Lance all sorts of questions about what it's like to be a power ranger. Lance then stops his little brother, telling him to slow down. Allen apologizes, telling his big brother that the red ranger was his hero and that he always wanted to be a power ranger when he grows up, little did he know that his hero was also his own big brother, showing Lance his vintage MMPR red ranger action figure. looking at the toy causes Lance to have flashbacks to his legend war dream, followed by Allen asking Lance how did he become a power ranger. Lance then tells his little bro that it all started when another red ranger saved him from a burning building when he was his age, and ever since then he had these dreams, dreams about all the power rangers fighting in some kind of war. Allen tells his big bro that's so cool, almost like it was his destiny to become a power ranger. Lance then pats his little bro on the back, telling him that maybe it was. Allen then asks his big bro to teach him some of those cool moves, saying that he wants to fight bad guys like him. Lance then tells Allen that it's a little too dangerous for a kid like him to be picking fights, followed by Allen telling Lance that he saw how he defended him from those two bullies at the playground and that he wishes he could defend himself like his big bro, saying that he hates bullies and that he's tired of being the kid that lets himself get picked on. Lance then begins to feel sorry for his little bro, agreeing to teach him a little self-defense. we then cut to a montage of Lance training with his little bro in a makeshift obstacle course, Lance succeeding while Allen keeps screwing up. once the montage ends, Allen begins to think maybe his big bro is right about it being too dangerous for a kid like him. Lance then gives his little bro advice, telling him that you don't need deal with a bully using your fists and that two wrongs don't make a right. Lance is then contacted by Zador who informs him that darter and Predatox have been spotted in downtown Angel Grove. the other four rangers then arrive on the scene on their megaforce cycles telling Lance to come on as they've got a runaway monster to catch. the two brothers hug before Lance whips out his morpher and morphs before hopping on his megaforce cycle to join his teammates and the five ride off with Allen wishing the rangers good luck. we then cut to downtown Angel Grove where darter is speeding around causing havoc only for him to be knocked down by the rangers's headders being launched from their megaforce cycles. the five rangers then hop off their bikes to confront the monster before doing their role call (cue Goseiger episode 6 second fight). Lance then senses the monster's presence and attempts to strike him with his dragon sword only for him to be blocked by Predatox yet again who asks the red ranger if he's ready to be beaten again. Lance then tells Predatox that he won't be beaten a second time all the while darter tries to sneak up on Lance only for him to be blasted by the other four rangers and their headder blasters. the other four rangers deal with darter while Lance fights Predatox one-on-one, Predatox getting the upper hand and laying the smackdown on our poor red ranger, telling him that once he deals with him humanity will fall by general Tritor's knees, even his little brother. Lance tells Predatox to leave Allen out of this and blasts him, telling him that he will not tolerate a bully, especially one who threatens the lives of innocent people including a mere child. Predatox then starts beating the snot out of Lance, telling him that humans are weak telling him that he will not allow himself to be humiliated by one ever again sending Lance crashing through a wall. however, Lance refuses to be defeated thinking about his little brother's smile before getting back up, telling Predatox that he has underestimated the human spirit, Alpha watching the fight from the viewing screen telling Zador that she's worried for Lance as Predatox is to strong, however Zador assures Alpha that Lance's courage will prevail as he selected him to be red ranger for a reason. Lance then gets back up, followed by Predatox sharpening his claws eager to have his revenge before charging at the red ranger. Lance then drops his sword and grabs a bar above his head to swing himself out of the way of Predatox's attack remembering his training experience with his brother. Lance then lets go and grabs his sword to slash Predatox in the back, Predatox being infuriated by being bested by a human yet again. Lance then delivers a skyward slash attack that knocks back Predatox whom promises the red ranger that they'll meet again before retreating. we then cut back to the other four rangers fighting darter who speeds around before the other four rangers blast him with their headder blasters before Jamie summons the sea brothers zords which the rangers attach to their blasters to finish off darter once and for all. we then cut to general Tritor who orders Vrak to summon the zombats to make the monster grow. once darter grows giant, the rangers summon their zords to form the guardian megazord (cue Goseiger episode 6 megazord fight), however their megazord is too slow to catch up with the monster so Austin and Molly decide to pitch in and summon the land brothers zords to form the land guardian megazord to chase after darter before finishing him off once and for all. after that, we cut to allen playing videogames in the arcade at Ernie's, followed by Fat Jack and Skinny Mack entering the building. Allen is scared at first, however the two decide to apologize to Allen telling him that they're sorry for bullying him and they won't do it again. Allen accepts their apology and shakes their hands on it, followed by Lance and the other rangers congratulating Allen for doing the right thing. our episode then ends with Lance taking his little bro for a ride on his red megaforce cycle down the scenic highway.
