Our episode picks up where the last one left off, with sensei and Kari surrounded by marauders. Kari then morphs to protect sensei and tries to fight off the marauders as best she can however she is vastly outnumbered and they proceed to overpower her causing her to de-morph and be knocked out unconscious. sensei then grabs one of the antique katanas from the weapons rack and proceeds to fight off the marauders only to be knocked out unconscious as well. once the two are knocked out cold, Octomancer arrives on the scene and informs the marauders to take them hostage, as lord Ashura wants to use the two of them as bait for the rangers. Deker and Nocturna overhear this, with Nocturna asking Deker what they should do. Deker then tells his wife that they need to warn his brother and his comrades about this. we then cut back to the rangers fighting off hordes of marauders while Kenji is surrounded by five recycled shinkenger monsters. Kenji then activates shogun mode and inserts the Shiba fire disc into the shogun spear to try out his new finishing move the shogun fire strike which destroys all five monsters in a single blow. we then cut to Akuma palace where sensei Nobu and Kari wake up to find themselves tied up followed by Kari asking sensei where they are. lord Ashura then steps in to tell them that they are in Akuma palace, the mighty fortress of the Akuma clan and that they are his captives to serve as bait for his precious students. Octomancer then displays an image from his staff that shows hordes of monsters attacking stone canyon explaining to them that the forces of the netherworld have begun their invasion and that soon their civilization will fall. sensei Nobu tells lord Ashura that he won't get away with this only for lord Ashura to put his hand over sensei's mouth telling him that he already has and that his students have failed before laughing evilly. we then cut back to the six rangers being surrounded by monsters and marauders who proceed to knock the six of them out of their ranger forms. however they are then saved by Nocturna and Deker in their monster forms who inform the six that lord Ashura has captured their sensei and the female red ranger. more Akuma then show up followed by Deker and Nocturna trying to hold them back as best they can followed by Deker telling his brother not to worry about them and to focus on saving the world. the six of them then morph and rush towards Akuma palace before we cut to Bulk's sushi spot where Bulk spots two monsters harassing a small child followed by Bulk rushing in to grab the child and take her to safety. her mother then thanks Bulk and kisses him on the cheek causing him to blush and faint. we then cut back to the rangers storming Akuma palace slashing their way through marauders until they burst into the throne room demanding lord Ashura to let sensei and Kari go. lord Ashura then gets off his throne and tells the rangers that coming here was suicide, followed by Kari telling her cousin to hit him in the white patch as it's his weak spot. Kenji then tells the other five to stay back as this is his fight. Kenji then activates shogun mode and goes one-on-one with lord Ashura while the other rangers sneak behind the back and use their swords to free sensei and Kari. the two thank them for their rescue and try to escape through the hallways only to be confronted by Octomancer, whom of which attacks the rangers with his tentacles only for the rangers to slice his tentacles off followed by Kari morphing to deliver the final slash destroying Octomancer once and for all. we then cut back to Kenji's fight with lord Ashura, Kenji pulling out the Shiba fire disc and plugging it into the shogun spear and attempts to strike lord Ashura's weak spot only for lord Ashura to block Kenji's weapon and shatter the fire disc. lord Ashura then knocks Kenji out of ranger form followed by the others taking off their helmets and rushing to his aid followed by lord Ashura telling our heroes that its too late to stop his plan as his forces have already invaded stone canyon and that all he needs to do now is finish the job before teleporting. after that, we then see lord Ashura arriving at downtown stone canyon before giving his speech about how mankind will soon be destroyed and that their world now belongs to the Akuma clan. however Deker and Nocturna arrive on the scene to stop lord Ashura in his tracks before the two charge at lord Ashura with Nocturna holding down lord Ashura while Deker tries to strike lord Ashura with his swords only for the two to get knocked back into their human forms before we cut back to the dojo where Kari uses the last bit of energy she has to repair the Shiba fire disc. after she hands it back to Kenji, sensei Nobu enters the room and hands Kenji a new disc he crafted: the double disc, able to double their firepower. Kenji then takes the double disc and the seven samurai rangers morph and hop on their samurai cycles before arriving at downtown stone canyon where they proceed to blast through marauders before hopping off their samurai cycles to finish off the marauders on foot before the seven are confronted by lord Ashura, all the while Deker is happy to see his brother and tells him to go atone for the sins of their family and avenge their mother. Bulk then rallies the citizens of stone canyon to help the rangers followed by Bulk leading his own charge against the marauders fighting them off with everyday objects as well as Deker and Nocturna transforming into their monster forms to fight off the recycled monsters. Nigel, Oscar, Ava, Sadie, and Spike combine their symbol power to write the kanji for "bind" which holds lord Ashura in place. Kenji then uses sensei's double disc to summon two fire smashers which he uses to hit the weak spot which obviously weakens lord Ashura followed by Kenji tossing Kari the Shiba fire disc followed by Kari using the fire disc to power up her spiral sword to deliver a Shiba fire slash to hit Ashura's weak spot again. Kenji then activates shogun mode before Kari returns the Shiba fire disc to Kenji who uses it to power up the shogun spear to deliver a shogun fire strike which destroys lord Ashura once and for all freeing the soul of Nocturna's mother which Nocturna is happy to see return to the afterlife followed by Deker thanking his brother for ending lord Ashura's reign of terror saying that finally their mother can rest in peace, the two brothers clasping hands. however it is not over yet as lord Ashura somehow survived much to everyone's shock followed by lord Ashura growing giant prompting the rangers to summon the samurai ultrazord while Kari stays on the ground to wish them good luck (cue shinkenger finale megazord fight). lord Ashura destroys each of their auxiliary zords one-by-one until the rangers are left with nothing but the samurai megazord. the six rangers then take off their helmets while Kenji hears the ghost of grandpa Mako telling him that he is proud of how much he's grown giving him the motivation to keep on fighting followed by the megazord delivering the final blow to lord Ashura destroying him once and for all causing Akuma palace to crumble and all the monsters and marauders to turn to dust. Deker and Nocturna then suddenly revert to their human forms followed by the two looking at their arms to see that their Akuma tattoos are gone meaning that they are now fully human. the rangers then see sensei arrive on the scene followed by the seven running up to hug him telling him that he's the best sensei. Nobu then notices Kenji's Akuma tattoo is missing followed by Deker telling kenji that lord Ashura's destruction must have sent a purifying wave that destroyed all Akuma meaning that their Akuma halves are gone meaning that they get to live normal lives as full humans. Kenji then hugs his big brother welcoming him to the family before we cut to the dojo where the six rangers attend a graduation ceremony hosted by sensei Nobu and Kari. sensei then bestows each of the six rangers a scroll as a certificate of samuraihood from the Shiba family. the six then bow their heads to sensei before hanging up their morphers and saying their final goodbyes to each other. after that, Kari says her goodbyes to Kenji and sensei as she packs her things to return to the Shiba temple in Japan now that the mission is over. she offers her cousin Kenji to come back home to live in the temple with her, but Kenji tells her "my place is here" as he puts his arm around his uncle Nobu while the two watch her leave. we cut to the final epilogue to see where the rangers are now: Nigel returned to his mansion in England to be with his family, Oscar moved in with Ava and we see the two have hooked up as the two hold hands after paying their respects to Ava's deceased sister. Sadie enrolled at stone canyon university and became a Japanese history major, and Spike went back to working as a waiter in Bulk's sushi restaurant. Bulk and Spike both notice a limousine driving up to the sushi restaurant only for Skull to show up back from his trip around the world to greet Bulk and his son Spike. Bulk and Skull have a hilariously comedic reunion before Skull tells his son Spike it's time to go home. Spike hugs his uncle Bulk and says farewell before he and his dad hop in the limousine with Spike telling his dad that he has a ton of stories for him to tell. the two of them poke their heads out and say "see ya Bulky!" before both them get hit on their heads by a road sign. we then catch up with the Shiba siblings where we see the now fully-human Deker and Nocturna have started a family, Nocturna playing the baby the same song her mother played her on her new shamisen, meanwhile at the dojo we see that sensei Nobu has re-opened his samurai school where we see five new students enter the dojo where sensei Nobu introduces the kids to their new teacher: Kenji Shiba who tells the kids that the time has come to begin their samurai training while sensei smiles knowing that his favorite nephew will be passing his family's teachings onto the next generation ending our series on a happy note.
