Day 2 "Buongiorno Napoli, è il 21 gennaio e la temperatura è... (Good morning Naples, it is the 21st January and the temperature is...)"

I slammed my hand down on the alarm clock and groaned, rolling over to see a very peaceful Lizzie, still asleep on my chest. The duvet was bunched up around our waists and our clothes from last night was scattered around the floor. I ran my hand up and down her spine and placed a kiss on her head before rolling her over so I could make us coffee. She hummed as she rolled over and cuddled a pillow with a smile. I planted another kiss on her head before walking into the kitchen area of our hotel room.  I threw on a sports bra and shorts before trying to figure out the coffee machine.

Don't get me wrong, I can speak Italian, but this coffee machine looked like a fucking robot. There were so many buttons. I clicked the iPad-looking screen a few times and three options came up. I selected the espresso option and made myself an iced latte and I made Lizzie her black coffee.

I heard movement and saw Lizzie standing at the kitchen door smiling at me. She had on my linen t-shirt from last night, three of the middle buttons done up.

"Good morning my love, I made you a coffee," I said with a smile, kissing her head.

"Thank you baby," she replied softly, taking a sip and humming.

I followed her out onto the balcony where our wine glasses were left from last night next to an empty bottle of red wine.

"So, what is the plan for today?" I asked as we both sat sipping our drinks and looking out at the view.

It was cloudy today but still very warm. Warm enough that we probably needed to wear sun cream.

"We have a boat trip in about two hours, we're having brunch and a tour around the coast and then the boat is going to stop at the Amalfi coast," she replied, moving to put her legs across my lap.

"Nice. You did good Liz," I said with a smirk.

She nodded her head, "I try."

"I'm actually very happy we are going to the Amalfi coast because- um- so Dad wanted some of his ashes sprinkled in the ocean there," I said quietly, holding the necklace I had around my neck that held a small portion of Dad.

"That'll be really lovely," she said with a reassuring smile, reaching out to hold my hand, "is there anything else you wanted to do while we are there?"

"I think I'm going to get a tattoo," I spoke.

Lizzie nodded and smiled, "what are you thinking of getting?"

"Maybe a lemon, it's the fruit of Amalfi and as it's going to be Dad's final resting place, it seems fitting."

Lizzie smiled and squeezed my hand lovingly as she finished her drink, "that's lovely."

We finished our drinks and went back to our bedroom to get ready for the day. Lizzie took off the bedsheets and put them in the bath for the cleaners to change after our 'activities' last night.

I pulled out one of my bikinis and one of Lizzie's to wear under our clothes in case we decided to go swimming. Mine was a plain white bikini with strings and hers was blue with small lemon details on the top and the bottoms. I finished getting ready way before Lizzie. I don't know what she's doing- we are going to be on a boat not walking a runway. But anyway, I started getting our things together for the day so we could go down to breakfast as soon as she was ready.

"Y/N baby, have you seen my sandals?" she shouted from the bedroom.

"They're out here," I replied, putting some bottles of water in my tote bag.
