"What is your least favorite kind of weather?" He asked.

"Snow. It's cold, impossible to fight in, and takes away from the color of the world." She answered.

PERCY HAD BEEN WANTING TO TALK TO ARYA ALL MORNING.

She could tell by his mannerisms and how distracted he was. Normally, she didn't mind repeating herself for his benefit; but it had been nearly everything she said. Her promise to never get angry at him again was being really tested.

Telling him to spit it out seemed like the only solution.

Except she didn't want to push him into a conversation if he wasn't ready to have it.

So while she waited for him to decide if he wanted to talk or not. Arya distracted herself by talking to Frank and Hazel. She had a pretty good idea about how Camp Jupiter worked, but if she was going to help the two camps to become one she wanted to understand different people's perspectives.

She was sure that she had a very different experience at camp compared to Nessa from the Hephestus cabin or Katie Gardener from the Demeter cabin.

It was interesting to see the Roman side of things from two people from a different cohort who didn't grow up in the camp.

Hazel and Frank were more than happy to answer their questions. Even more so now that Frank was no longer scared of Arya's every move. Turns out being elevated to Preator does something to a kid's confidence.

Arya got so invested in the conversations, genuinely enjoying their company thaandt she had lost track of time.

It wasn't until the giant thunder roared from the mountain that Arya came to her senses.

"Was that-?" Percy asked, already looking towards the ruins.

"Zeus." Arya whispered.

"Are you sure?" Hazel asked, trying to stay optimistic.

"Trust me." Arya said as she made her way to the railing to see if she could see more from the old house of Odysseus, "I've been on the receiving end of that sound more times than you can count."

"Oh." Hazel whispered.

Leo spotted it first from his telescope, cursing every word he knew in spanish.
