Anyone who knows Arya Jackson for more than five minutes knows her opinion of the world, and demigods not so fair place in it. Unfortunately, since the war Arya isn't that easy to get to know. To most she's little more than a legend.

"If you could have one talent from another god, which one would you want?" He asked her.
"Being able to grow plants and stuff from Demeter, that way I could feel like I bring some good into the world."

ARYA AWOKE WITH A START.
Her feet were on the floor and she was halfway to the bathroom when she realized that she wasn't ready to vomit. In fact her body wasn't in its normal, post nightmare, adrenaline fueled state at all. She hadn't had a nightmare at all.
A sudden pounding on the wall that her bed was on startled her. That's what had awoken her. Her stomach dropped when her mind caught up to realize that the sound was coming from Ace's room.
She tore her own door open and took the seven steps it took to get from her room to Ace's before throwing his door open and barging into his room, her trident in hand ready to take down whatever was going after him.
The room wasn't ransacked and no monster was in it. It looked completely normal, all down to the tan skin and light brown hair of Ace that could be found in his bed. His sleep was anything but peaceful though.
She understood now why there was a banging on her wall. Ace's foot was hitting it as he tossed and turned violently, his sheets half on the floor. His back arched off the bed abruptly as he let out a groan of pain. It was only by the light of her trident that she saw the tears that poured down his face.
Fuck.
Opting out of her trident she made her way over to his bed and called out his name. Softly at first progressively getting louder when he had no reaction. She only decided to touch him when her voice clearly wasn't working. Not wanting to grab him suddenly when he panicked like this, she did the only thing she could think of and reached up for his hair and softley ran her hands through it.
His name left her lips again and again as she pleaded for him to wake up.
Seeing him in this much duress caused her far more pain than she wanted to admit. She'd rather fight every monster she's ever faced all at once than sit here and be helpless as Ace did everything to show he was in pain other than scream.
His brain listened eventually and his eyes snapped open, bloodshot and swollen. Unlike her, it took him no time to realize where he was and process that whatever had been happening had just been a dream.
