Anyone who knows Arya Jackson for more than five minutes knows her opinion of the world, and demigods not so fair place in it. Unfortunately, since the war Arya isn't that easy to get to know. To most she's little more than a legend.
Arya is fine w...
"Here's a secret: Just the idea that she is alive and she is in this world, makes me ache."

"What's one thing you've learned about yourself since meeting my brother?" She asked.
"That I'm far more useful as a demigod than I ever thought possible." He answered.

SHE WAS AWAKE. And then she wasn't.
The storm had stopped ten minutes ago. Everyone on the ship took different parts of the railings to look for their friends to pop out of the sea at any moment. With the two children of Poseidon, it was not a question of if, rather than when.
Three heads rose up all at the same time, hair plastered to their heads. Whatever they had gone down to face must have been bad enough that they had to give up their protections to get wet. They were close to one another, attempting to both tread water and hold one another up.
Tired, or injured? Ace questioned.
Percy shifted Arya from his grasp into Jasons, and the rest of the crew watched as Jason used the wind to pick him and Arya up out of the water and onto the deck. He took off again to grab Percy and in the second between the time Jason set her down and Ace looking her over, her legs had given in and she was collapsing onto the deck below her.
No one was fast enough to catch her.
"Fuck." Ace cussed. "What happened?"
One his knees in a second, he turned her over on her back and brushed the hair off of her face.
He was a healer, and one thing he had learned in that position over the years was how to stay calm when someone else was bleeding in his arms. All that training was catapulted out the window as he thought about all the gruesome possibilities that might have happened during that storm.
Ace didn't worry about Arya getting injured very often and he didn't even really consider it a possibility with the vast ocean to protect her. Water is where she was strongest. So what had happened was that Arya Jackson had passed out?
The red, where there wasn't supposed to be red, caught his eyes first.
Her throat... Oh gods her throat.
"She's okay." Percy assured voice strained, body still leaning on Jason.
Ace forced himself to look away from Arya, if only to take a second to remember how to breathe again. The other Jackson sibling looked like he was nearly ready to pass out too, his eyes blinked with heaviness and legs looked like they could hardly support his weight.
