Anyone who knows Arya Jackson for more than five minutes knows her opinion of the world, and demigods not so fair place in it. Unfortunately, since the war Arya isn't that easy to get to know. To most she's little more than a legend.

"What do the one's do that age out of camp?" He asked.
"Few survive that long. The ones that do..." She said, "They move on and don't bother to look back"

ARYA FELT HERSELF GETTING EMOTIONAL at the sight in front of her.
Hundreds of demigods from two camps who had done nothing but fought for their entire existence were now sitting, joined together as one, in her dining pavilion that was currently filled with laughter and countless conversations.
Even though her conversation with Chiron was done, she couldn't find herself able to step down and join everyone else. Even though Ace was standing on the other side, right in her line of view.
Time had passed in such a hurry that she had only had but a few minutes to herself since it all ended. In that time, she didn't want to admit to herself how much she missed being able to seek him out in a moments notice.
Arya had been booked and busy since after the battle, organizing everything and everyone. Locked into meeting after meeting with someone or other about the one that she didn't like to think about; the future.
She hadn't even been able to spare a couple hours to go see Sally.
On the porch after she invited the Romans to join in the greek cabins, Percy had told her he couldn't make his mother wait any longer but he would be back for dinner. And sure enough he was, sitting with Hazel, Frank, and Annabeth. The rest of the table was filled in with some Roman kids, some Ares kids, and some Athena kids.
Arya hadn't had a chance to talk to him, but he hoped his mothers pregnancy had come as a pleasant surprise.
Now that everything was more or less settled and Chiron insisted that she join in the celebration, something she had never really been good at. It was in that odd mix of emotions, somewhere between enjoying looking at it all from a distance and yet heart aching to be able to share in this moment with her friends, that Arya came to a conclusion about herself.
As she looked over the sea of people, at the start of a new wave of history, Arya realized that she didn't belong there anymore. At least not in the way that she used to.
It felt odd to frame herself as a camper, most of her remaining friends had moved on in some capacity or another. And with her being well over eighteen, there was now a small age gap happening between her and the average age of campers. This would only continue to grow. As she moved through the last couple days it occurred to her that the kids no longer looked to her as a friend or peer, most of them regarded her in the same fashion they regarded Chiron. As someone to be respected and learn from.
