"Every boy deserves to believe his father is good, but if each father were good, we'd be living in a different kind of world."

"What did you expect from your father growing up?" She asked.

"Nothing. Expect the chance for him to acknowledge me, if only once" He answered.

THE NEXT TWO DAYS were nothing but pushing forward, fighting monsters, and random conversations to pass the time.

Truly, the only real thing of interest was Arya's dream.

As re-told over a hearty breakfast Nico and the crew had made it to South Carolina meaning that they would likely make it to camp well before the deadline. Although, Nico was apparently getting worse which means that his jumps either had to be smaller or more sporadic in time.

Ace was well aware there was something that Arya had left out. He could see it on her face as she let the others discuss the Parthenos. Something Nico had said was bothering her. He wouldn't ask her about it though, it was her business to tell.

Leo announced that the ship was back in shape just in time for it to land at their next location within the hour. Percy and Annebth, needing to get off the ship for a little bit, offered to go explore the town.

They came back with gelato for all, which they happily enjoyed in the hot sun before deciding they had to bite the bullet and go to Delos.

It was already known that Ace and Arya would be going. The debate was for a third person. In which it ended up not being much of a debate at all, Leo offered himself up with very little room for argument.

Ace and Leo rode atop Frank as a giant eagle. Arya rode below them, held up by Jason. Both parties made their way across the choppy sea and were dropped off without either flying boy touching the ground.

Arya noted that the wind made the sea too choppy for tourists to come, therefore the island would be empty today. Ace didn't miss out on how she was a little too happy to deliver that news.

The island wasn't overly large, a little over a mile from one end to another with nothing but hills filled to the brim with flowers and ruins, this time without the ghosts to accompany them. It was on the other side of the island, where the hills flattened out and the remains of an amphitheater could be made out in the stone.
