Anyone who knows Arya Jackson for more than five minutes knows her opinion of the world, and demigods not so fair place in it. Unfortunately, since the war Arya isn't that easy to get to know. To most she's little more than a legend.

Arya and Ace
~
"Why do you write?" She asked.
"It helps with the anxiety," He answered, "It helps me organize the thoughts and get them out of my head."

THE SHIP WAS COMFORTABLY QUIET as Ace walked through the hallway with all the room aboard the Argo II. Faintly, the water could be heard from outside mixing with the subtle hum of the machinery that kept the ship going. It made a peaceful melody. Adding to that were the hushed whispers coming from a few of the rooms.
While Ace hadn't seen any of them go into each other's rooms. It wasn't a secret that Hazel had ended up in Frank's room, while he was pretty sure Hazel's upbringing would prevent her from sleeping over, Ace found himself hoping that maybe the two of them would genuinely accidentally fall asleep.
Footsteps could be heard from inside of Pipers cabin. Jason was pacing, stressing. Piper was probably on her bed talking his mind down with just a little bit of charmspeak in her voice. Ace knew they wouldn't be separating tonight. Both of them were too anxious.
The first two rooms should have housed Percy and Annabeth. While noise couldn't be heard, Ace knew that the two hadn't spent a night apart since coming back from Tartarus. Ace couldn't blame them. The silent rooms painted a picture of Percy holding onto Annabeth while the girl rested on her boyfriend's chest. Both of them find comfort in one another enough to get one last good night's sleep.
Ace made his way up the steps and onto the deck of the ship. His sheath in hand, his eyes found Arya immediately, looking over the port side railing with closed eyes. Feeling the sea below her.
He would never get tired of looking at her.
It was ridiculous of him to come up here tonight. One night of training wasn't going to make or break him on the battlefield tomorrow. He should be sleeping. They both should be.
Except these moments weren't about training, not anymore.
The days had been strenuous and grueling. Trial and horror managed to find all of them around every corner. Hardly anything ever went as planned and everyone's emotions were constantly on an up and down roller coaster.
Their nights on the deck of the ship were one of the only constants. Arya was one of his only constants. He found himself craving their time together like he was starving and only she could quell it.
