Freen
Becky was pulling my wrist as we make our way outside the stall. All the people have their attention on us earlier. And I was so surprise that Becky notice how uncomfortable I am around those two. I don't usually show my awkward feeling around people, but with Becky I don't even have to say anything. She will notice it."Rebecca." She ignored me.
"Rebecca." I called her again but her hold on my wrist tightened as we walk a little more faster. "Rebecca!" Again, she never paid attention. So I do the thing that will make her stopped walking and give her attention to me.
"Becbec. Becca. Let's slow down a little and talk." I exclaimed and she stopped right after I called her that.
"Let's talk when I already sent you back home Freen." She replied. Nodding my head, I followed her politely behind. She put the helmet on my head and secure it's lock before hopping in and so do I.
The whole drive was silent. I know Becky is mad. Her shoulders are rising up and down trying to cool herself down. I can feel it. My arms are wrapped around her waist and I could feel her heavy breathing inside.
I remained silent the whole drive, not unless she will talk. But I was surprise when we take a different road back to my apartment.
"It's not the road for my apartment Rebecca." I announce. But she rejected me again.
Oh to choke this woman in front of me is really my wish right now. I remained silent again after she never replied to my announcement. We ride pass through a hill, the road is dark and scary, so I tightened my hugged on her waist. All I can see is the city lights from below, we are at a peak of a hill until we came to a stop on a little house shed where you can see everything from above.
This felt fairytale.
Becky took off her helmet hopping off the motorbike as she stride slowly on the shed. Me on the other hand followed her behind as she sat on the mini chair facing the scenery below.
"Becca."
"What Freen?" She asked with annoyance evidence on her voice. "If your gonna scold me for causing you trouble and tarnishing your name i'm apologizing right now." She started.
I sigh and slowly sat across her as her keep fend off her eyes.
"Bec... I'm not gonna do that. That's the least I am thinking right now and you never tarnish my name. You never did. And if I someone will impel you to be guilty with that actions I will be the one to be an impediment on them. You just did what you got to do. I am surprise about what you did but I won't even know what to do or how to react about what he said if you we're never there. You just save me Rebecca. And I won't nag you about implicating me because you just did what you know is right that time." I replied.
There was a long pause in between us. I wait for her to reply but she is never planning to. I sat there across her watching the moon and stars from above us.
"This is my safe place when I am mad angry or upset. No one knows this place except me. I always go here everytime I feel like the world turns it's back on me and I have no one to turn to. I never take someone here except from you. " She paused. "Here I can see the stars, the moon and city lights below. Those are the only place I always harness hope from everytime I lose it. " She started.
I was surprised. It's her safe place but why did she take me here? Why did she let me see this place with her?
"It's nice out here don't you think? Sometimes I plan on not going home when I come here. I plan on just staying her for the night and forget the things I have did. All those ungrateful ones. This place is my solace when I don't have one. I didn't even take Non here. No one knows about this secret safe-haven but now you already know my secret place. "
