Chapter LX

As the sun arises, I sat sleepily on my bed adjusting my vision on the sudden brightness of my room. I roamed my eyes to the sleeping girl next to me. She look so peaceful and calm, her beauty is ethereal. It's over all the qualifications of beauty.

"Why can't you just sleep all the time?" I whispered as I shrugged my shoulders on her. I don't know but Rebecca seems to be so calm and at ease while sleeping making me wish that she would sleep all the time so she won't bother me. She's such a nuisance.

I then make my way towards my bathroom ablution myself with clean water then prepare for the day. The moment I get off the shower, Rebecca is no longer on my bed. Instead, she stood right on the edge of my bed holding my picture when I was a baby.

"What are you doing!" I asked in a laconic tone snatching the frame from her hand as I put it back on the nightstand.

"Why are you so mean early in the morning?" She asked.

"None of your business." I replied. I don't know but Rebecca's presence seems to get into my skin.

I needed to think about my own actions wisely. I don't even know why she's here. I admit I am enjoying being in her arms but I don't even know if she and her boyfriend broke up already. I don't know why she's coming over my apartment for quite uncountable times already and it's giving me goosebumps thinking we are cheating on her boyfriend.

This doesn't feel right. We should not fall of aberration. This isn't right. This isn't me.

"Hurry up so you could leave my apartment."

"Calm down Freen! Why are in such a hurry? Who does to school at 5:30 in the morning? Our classes starts at 8."

Yeah right. It's your fault for not checking the time Freen. I rolled my eyes at her pushing her out of my room but this girl is up to something I cannot fathom.

"Stop pushing me away."

"Why are you even here Rebecca? Go home? Don't you have a home?" I asked but just like what she usually does, she just shrugged and pulled me to sit on my bed. "What do you want?"

"I guess this is my only time to talk."

"No! I won't listen!"

"But you must Freen! If you keep in depriving my words to clear things out then we can't clear this out. You need to listen to me! Please!" She pleaded looking deeply into my eyes.

Should I listen? What if she lie again? What if she will tell me that it's really Non that she love? What if I will broke my heart again?

My mind was battling with each questions. To either listen or I leave it that way. But for some reason, I want to listen to her explanation, for her side of her story. For everything she left unaddressed so I could lessen up the abhorrence I felt towards her. So I nodded,

It's better to be hurt by the truth than go be soothed by lies. Whatever will happen today, atleast I know I have nothing to hold unto against her.

Then she started speaking telling me about the whole story. Starting from her point of view towards Non.

Becky's Story

"Non... He is the best boyfriend I could ever asked for, he was everything that I needed, he was everything that every girl wish to have in a boyfriend and I am more than lucky to have him. He was loyal and kind and genuine about his feelings, it was when Freen was assigned to help me pass my grades that he started becoming paranoid. Prohibiting me to wear something I like, I need to update him everytime about what me and Freen are doing, he need to know everything about Freen everytime we're together. He started become paranoid and acted like he was gonna lose me any moment from now."
