Chapter XXVII

Both of the two individuals go back to their own table leaving a very annoyed Freen in front of her mother but she cool herself down because she don't want her mother too see her that mad.

Clenching her fist, Freen then eat in silence giving her mother those curious gestures that made her puzzled about her daughters behavior.

Becky on the other hand is horrified about the scene, she don't know what Nop told Freen but she is sure it is no good base on the girls reaction. Turning her gaze back on her boyfriend, she tug his shirt making him turn his head towards her.

"What did you tell her?"

"It's a secret in between acquaintances babe." He replied squeezing Becky's hand.

"What?"

"Don't keep your nose on it babe, it's nothing serious." He added making Becky just let it slide but her curiosity just grew more and more because if it's not that serious then why did Freen reacted that way. But Becky don't want to argue at the moment so she just let it go because she knows that Non will never talk about it unless he wants to.

Mom and I continued eating and ignore the uneasy feeling flying in the air the moment Non and Rebecca made their way out of our sight. I never expected them to come here, nor introduce themselves on my mom when all I wanna do right nor is hang out with mom to forget about Rebecca for a moment then Rebecca show up with her boyfriend and sabotage my time with mom that literally blow my day.

I was already calm and at ease being with my mom, why do they have to show up?

"Freen." Mom look at me as she munch on her own food but her face eyes is looking at me wearily.

"Yes mom? Do you like the food? Tell me if you want to have more we can just-"

"Chill Freen. I'm good, the food is good. But..." Her mother paused. "Is there something you want to tell me about those couple over there?" She ask looking back at Rebecca and Non's direction but I shook my head.

"No mom, there's nothing more to tell. Let's just eat okay." I replied changing the topic because I don't want to talk about it for now. I came here to have quality time with mom, not to fed her with my dramatic love issues.

We continued spending our time on the restaurant and when we both are already finish with the foods, we started gathering our things and called the waitress for our check.

" Hey Miss. Can I get the bill please?"

The the waitress started walking her way over with a smile plastered on her face.

"Here ma'am, that would be 900 baht ma'am."

I took my wallet from my pocket and give her 1500 baht and she look at me confusingly.

"Wait here ma'am i'll take your change."

"No, that's your tip. You can have it."

"But ma'am it's quite still a lot of money. You might need it."

"It's okay, keep it. I know you need it more than I do." I replied and smiled as I close her hands and push it towards her navel to prevent her from giving it back.

"Thank you so much ma'am." She replied and the smile on her lips really reach her eyes. "Your raise a good kid ma'am." She added as she look at my mom and smiled.

We then bid our goodbyes and started walking out when Rebecca and Non then get up from their chairs and started barging in on the exit door catching up to us then Rebecca accidentally rub her shoulders and mine making me flinch and I can see the hurt in her eyes.
