Chapter XV

PS: Hey guys, so you might probably been wondering what happened between Freen and Seng in their past relationship so I will give you a glimpse of their past and about the turning point of there relationship.

Freen
I am currently organizing the clothes that i'm going to bring to Phatum Thank tomorrow. Packing was never been a problem for me. I am always excited for new task i'm gonna handle. But today, I feel like living for a week seems like living for a year. I can't explain why i'm feeling this heavy feeling but I know that I am not on my best this days.

Tucking my favorite oversized shirt on my bag. I notice Rebecca's shirt on my closet. It was an oversized black channel shirt that is hanging beside my clothes. Out of self-control, I took the shirt and stared at it for good like 5 minutes.

"You left your shirt here Rebecca." I mumbled. I take the shirt closer to my nose as I enhaled it's scent. Her scent is still lingering on the shirt. She smells like ambery. It's a type of scent that makes you feel addicted. And just by the scent I could tell that it was hers.

I put the shirt back on the bed as I scold myself for smelling it. Oh God Freen you look like a creep right now.

I put the shirt back on my closet when I accidentally stumble upon a box. Yes, a box. I don't even remember I have box here in my closet.  The box fell over the ground making it's cover ajar so I bend down to pick it when my hand caught a necklace. It's a gemstone beaded necklace.

Then my heart suddenly pang in my chest.

It's Seng's gift for me.

Flashback

I'm standing on the lockers to get my materials for our arts project when I suddenly saw a piece of paper tuck in my book so I pick it up and my eyes lit up the moment I saw what is written on the letter.

Seng
Hey babe, sorry I can't be in school today I just have to run some errands. I hope your doing better there at school and stay safe okay? I love you.

I held the letter closer to my chest. Seng's words is like an Energizer for me, his voice is my medicine and his affection is my comfort. With him around I felt like everything is gonna be okay so I won't worry too much. 

I took out the materials that I needed before heading back to the classroom when Nam suddenly come to me wearing her brightest smile.

"Freen."

"Yes?"

"I have something for you."

"What is it?"

"Close your eyes."

"Your probably not kidding me Nam or I swear i'm gonna kill you."

"I'm not. Come on close your eyes."

I close my eyes waiting for Nam to give me the thing she said and I thought she will take me somewhere but we didn't move. We stayed there standing in the middle of the hallway not doing anything.

"Nam?" I called. I swear if she left me here standing in the middle of the whole way looking like this i'm gonna choke her to death.

"I'm here."  She replied.

It was a good five minutes before I felt a metal chain in my neck as she moved my hair aside. Getting excited, I open my eyes and found that it was a necklace. A beaded gemstone necklace.

"You bought this?"

"No, Seng does. But he told me to give it to you in advance since he's not here."
