Finding Her

Session

We arrive at the hospital and we make our way up to Sandy's room.
I smile once we walk into the room.
"Hi Maura. How have you been?"
"Not that great."
"Alright and why is that?"
"I've been struggling with the nightmares."
She nods her head
"It's when Allen took me to the strip clubs."
She nods again as she writes something down.
I wipe a stray tear away as I hold onto Bella.
I move my white sock that had fallen down.
I decide that I can't do it so I tell Jane I need to go home
"Why honey?"
"I- I just don't feel well okay?"
"Okay honey let's go. Sorry Sandy"
"No no it's okay. See you soon Maura"
"Yep see you"
I walk out and I get into the car
I go straight to bed after dinner.
