"So I've been looking into Beth's baptism." Quinn began. "And I think we can do it during Christmas break."
"Her what?" Puck asked.
"Baptism." Quinn repeated. "We can meet with the priest in a few days and-"
"Hold on." Puck interrupted. "Who said anything about getting her baptized?"
Quinn raised her eyebrow.
"I'm just saying." Puck shrugged. "You don't think that's something we should talk about?"
"It's important to me." Quinn replied.
"Okay, well, she's half-Jewish." Puck reminded Quinn. "And being a Jew is important to me."
Quinn nodded slowly. "I get that, but she's not just yours."
"She's not just yours." Puck argued.
"Why do you have to make everything so difficult?" Quinn asked, sighing in frustration.
"You don't care about what I believe, fine, but it doesn't change the fact that it's part of her." Puck pointed out. "All I'm asking is that we make decisions about our daughter together."
Quinn looked at Puck and nodded slowly. "Fine. I'd like to get our daughter baptized. I was baptized as a baby, and I want Beth to be. I want her to have religion to turn to."
"Let me get this straight." Puck said. "You want Beth to be a part of the same church that ridiculed you and basically shunned you because you were pregnant?"
"It's less about the church itself and more about the tradition and the beliefs and prayers." Quinn responded.
"Let me think about it." Puck requested.
"Why don't you come with me to talk to the priest?" Quinn suggested. "You can voice your worries and ask questions."
"I'll think about it." Puck said.
Quinn pursed her lips and took a deep breath.
"You don't have any concerns with her being half-Christian/half-Jewish?" Puck questioned Quinn. "'Cause we don't believe the same things and I don't think it's fair for you to assume she'll only care about what you care about or believe what you believe."
Quinn opened her mouth to speak, but Puck continued.
"Like getting baptized might be important to you, but there's stuff that's important to me."
-
"Hey, dude." Finn smiled. "Ready to party?"
"What?" Puck asked.
"Beth's christening." Finn replied. "Quinn said we're gonna do it over break, and me and Mercedes have to be there and-"
"Quinn said that?" Puck cut Finn off.
Finn furrowed his eyebrows. "Y-Yeah."
"I gotta go." Puck decided, grabbing his backpack and walking away as Finn called after him.
Puck walked around until he found Quinn with Mercedes.
"Hey, Puck." Mercedes said with a smile.
Quinn turned to look at Puck, her smile fading when she saw the expression on his face. "Hey."
"Hey?" Puck replied
"I'm gonna go." Mercedes muttered, giving Quinn a look before walking away.
"I told you I wanted to think about this." Puck began.
"If we're doing it, we have to make preparations." Quinn pointed out.
"Who said we're doing it?" Puck questioned Quinn.
