Holiday Secrets (Quicketh)

"Wait." Quinn said. "Do I look okay?"

"Aw, don't be nervous. My family's gonna love you."

"I meant because I've been carsick for hours." Quinn responded.

"You look fine. Come inside."

Quinn took a deep breath as she followed her boyfriend inside.

"Mom? Dad? We're here!"

"Oh, Robbie!"

Quinn smiled politely as her boyfriend was greeted by his parents.

"And who's this beauty?"

"This is my girlfriend, Lucy." Robbie smiled.

"Thank you for having me." Quinn said. "Sorry we're late. I get-"

"Come inside." Robbie's mom interrupted. "Your sister's here."

"Ashley beat us here?" Robbie asked before leading Quinn inside.

"Look who decided to show up."

"Hey, sis." Robbie grinned. "This is my girlfriend, Lucy. Lucy, this is Ashley."

"It's so nice to meet you." Quinn nodded.

"It's nice to meet you, too." Ashley nodded back.

"Where's Zoey?" Robbie wondered.

"She's with Greg this year." Ashley answered with a frown. "But I brought someone home with me. He'll be right down."

"New boyfriend?" Robbie raised his eyebrow.

"You're gonna love him, he's really great." Ashley promised. "And he's a single parent, too."

On cue, someone walked down the stairs. Quinn froze when she looked the man in the eye.

"Robbie, this is Noah." Ashley introduced him. "Noah, this is my little brother, Robbie."

"Nice to meet you." Robbie said.

"You, too." Puck said, shaking Robbie's hand before offering his hand to Quinn.

"Lucy." Quinn introduced herself before shaking Puck's hand. "Noah, was it?"

"Yeah." Puck confirmed. "Nice to meet you, Lucy."

"Noah, why don't you get to know my brother while Lucy and I go help Mom with the Christmas cookies?" Ashley suggested.

"Actually, I was hoping I could lie down for a while." Quinn replied. "All that nausea made me tired."

"Lucy gets really bad carsickness." Robbie informed Ashley.

"Then why don't you and Noah join us?" Ashley suggested to Robbie.

"I'm gonna go upstairs to check in with my daughter and then I'll be right down to help out." Puck promised.

"See you in a few then."

"Yeah."

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Quinn whispered.

"Ashley invited me." Puck answered.

"No, I mean on the east coast." Quinn clarified.

"Home for the holidays." Puck shrugged.

"Where's Beth?" Quinn asked.

"Since when are you so concerned about Beth?" Puck wondered. "Lucy."

Quinn folded her arms and gave Puck a look.

"She's in Lima with my mom." Puck stated. "We did Hanukkah together and I'm only staying here a few days."

"Well, my mom's with my sister for Christmas so I'll be here." Quinn explained. "And I think to make things easier, we should act like we don't know each other."
