"Finn!"

Finn jumped and looked at his best friend walking down the hall.

Puck grabbed Finn by the jacket and started dragging him away.

"What the hell are you doing?" Finn asked.

"Sit down." Puck commanded, shoving Finn into the classroom and closing the door.

Finn glanced at Santana before taking a seat.

"I hate being the guy who has to fix your mess." Puck began, looking at Finn. "But we're gonna hang out here until you two make up."

Finn and Santana didn't say anything.

"If you want me to beat Finn up, I will." Puck offered.

Santana smiled slightly, thinking it over.

"Hey!" Finn exclaimed.

"What you didn't wasn't cool, dude." Puck stated.

"Santana bullies everyone." Finn said. "If she can't take it-"

"Look." Puck interrupted. "The three of us have been friends for a long time and if you guys can't get along anymore then..."

Finn furrowed his eyebrows.

"We've all made mistakes." Puck continued. "But this is too far. You have to make this right, Finn."

"How?" Finn wondered.

Puck looked at Santana, but she remained quiet.

"Crap, I gotta go pick Beth up." Puck informed the pair as he looked at his phone. "Why don't you guys stay here and talk or sing or whatever, and if you can start to move on from this, you can come see Beth after."

Puck turned and walked toward the door, then paused, looking back over his shoulder.

"Don't make me come back to break up a fight."

Finn shifted uncomfortably in his seat, looking at Santana when they were alone.

For once, Santana remained silent. She was seated on the desk pretzel-style with her hands in her lap, picking at her nails nervously.

"Santana, I-"

"Don't." Santana cut Finn off as looked at him.

"I made a mistake and I wanna fix it." Finn said.

"A mistake?" Santana repeated. "Outing me is not a mistake, Finn."

"You've been dishing it out for years." Finn argued.

"It's not the same as the things I say about you." Santana argued as she got up. "Fat jokes, singing, dancing, whatever. You took something that's personal and private and shouted it down the halls."

Finn looked down, guilt weighing on him. He wanted to argue, but every time he opened his mouth, the words died before they reached his tongue. Deep down, he knew Santana was right.

"I didn't mean-" Finn began, but his voice faltered as Santana held up a hand, silencing him.

"I know we argue, but you're my friend, Finn." Santana said. "And you took things too far. I mean, you didn't even hesitate in outting me."

Finn was silent for a moment, the weight of Santana's words sinking in. He opened his mouth again, then closed it.

"I'm sorry, Santana." Finn finally said. "I screwed up, and I wanna fix this. I wanna make things right."

"So fix it." Santana commanded. "Prove that you're the good guy."

"I am." Finn nodded. "And I will. I promise."
