"Guys." Quinn began as she looked at her kids. "We asked you to come down here so we could all talk."

"Please don't tell me you're having another baby." Beth muttered.

"We're not." Quinn promised, looking at Puck.

Puck didn't say anything.

Quinn exhaled slowly. "Your father and I have decided to separate."

"Separate what?" Lucy wondered.

"From each other." Quinn said. "It means we're gonna take some time apart and see if we wanna still be married."

"How much time?" Hudson asked.

"We're not sure." Quinn answered, looking at Puck to jump in. When he didn't, she continued. "We love the four of you so much, and we love each other, but we need to do what's best for all of us."

"Why?" Grace questioned Quinn.

"Because we want everyone to be happy." Quinn said as she looked at Beth, who had her arms folded. "B?"

"I hate you." Beth replied, her voice steady.

"Don't talk to your mother like that." Puck chimed in.

"I hate you, too." Beth told Puck.

"Beth." Quinn frowned.

"No, you guys want me to be happy? Cut the crap and be together!" Beth exclaimed. "You've spent all these years breaking up and getting back together and working and popping out babies only to split up? So we don't get to have our parents together? So we never get to have a normal family?"

"Beth, we've tried." Quinn said. "We can't do it anymore."

"Well, then you should've thought about that three or four kids ago." Beth noted.

"Beth." Quinn sighed.

"Which one of you is moving out?" Beth demanded, and her siblings looked at their parents.

"I am." Quinn answered. "Your father put so much work into the house, and he loves L.A., so-"

"Wait." Beth interrupted. "You're gonna leave L.A.?"

"I'm going back to New York." Quinn replied.

Beth rolled her eyes.

"You're all staying here while we figure things out." Quinn added. "And when the school year ends, you can choose what you wanna do for next year."

"If you're still in New York." Beth added.

"If I'm still in New York." Quinn confirmed. She looked at Puck. "Anything you wanna add, Noah?"

"I'm gonna go back upstairs." Puck shrugged before excusing himself.

When Puck left, Quinn looked at the kids. "If any of you have any questions or wanna talk about this, you can come to me or Daddy, okay?"

"Okay."

-

"I could've used your help earlier." Quinn told Puck. "When we told the kids."

Puck shook his head. "This is what you want, Quinn. You deal with it."

"Noah." Quinn frowned.

"Don't." Puck said. "I'm allowed to be pissed about this."

"Of course you are, but you really think that I'm not?" Quinn questioned Puck.

Puck looked at her.

"We have a whole life together, Noah." Quinn stated. "We have four kids, and we've built a home together. You think I want that to end?"

"You're the one who-"

"Because we're not happy!" Quinn exclaimed. "Not because we don't love each other or our life."

"So we figure it out." Puck said. "And we fight for all of it."

Quinn looked at Puck.

"I want it." Puck continued. "I'm all in, I've been all in since the day Beth was born."

"I know that." Quinn assured Puck.

"Okay, then this is all up to you." Puck noted as he got up. "Call me when you figure it out."
