Song on the Radio (Brittana)

"The food here is so good." Brittany said, taking another bite. "But nothing beats dessert. We have to have the vanilla pudding cakes."

"Five minutes ago, you said you were full." Santana reminded Brittany.

"Not my dessert stomach." Brittany smirked.

Before Santana could respond, the familiar sound of a song started playing over the café's speakers, its upbeat rhythm drawing their attention.

"Wait." Santana said, furrowing her eyebrows as she listened closely. It was her new song with Mercedes. "Britt, listen."

"Oh my god!" Brittany's face lit up almost immediately, her eyes widening. "That's your song!"

"Yeah." Santana nodded, smiling at Brittany's enthusiasm.

Brittany jumped out of her seat. "Oh my god, my wife's on the radio!"

The strangers nearby nodded politely while Brittany bounced with excitement.

"That's my wife!" Brittany informed everyone within earshot. "Santana Lopez. She's gonna be a huge star."

A couple of patrons exchanged glances, a little unsure of how to respond, but Brittany didn't let that stop her. She took Santana's hand, still grinning. "You're, like, famous now."

Santana laughed lightly and shook her head, her eyes still on the speaker above their heads. "Not yet."

"Well, you will be." Brittany insisted.

Santana looked at Brittany. "And you're already telling the whole café about it."

"Of course!" Brittany exclaimed. "They need to know how amazing you are, because you're gonna be so famous."

Santana bit her lip to hold back a smile. "You're embarrassing me."

"I'm so proud of you." Brittany said. "You're so talented. And everyone should know it."

"Well, geez, I didn't realize I married one of my fans." Santana teased.

"You're my wife." Brittany stated. "I'm your biggest fan."

As the song continued to play, Santana and Brittany sat back and listened.

Brittany let out a sigh when the song ended. "It gets better and better every time."
