Mistakes (Quinn/Puck)

"Hey." Puck smiled as he entered the room and greeted Quinn with a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey." Quinn smiled back. "Thanks for coming, and for doing this."

"Of course." Puck said. "You look beautiful. Are you ready?"

"I'm ready."

"Hello?" Puck answered his phone, half-asleep.

"Noah."

"Quinn?" Puck asked. "Hey, newlywed. How's the-?"

"I made a mistake." Quinn interrupted with a sniffle. "And I need your help."

"Yeah, sure. What's up?" Puck wondered as he sat up.

"Are you home?" Quinn questioned Puck.

"I am." Puck said. "Come over."

Puck got up and put clothes on before exiting his bedroom and going to the living room. He paced back and forth until Quinn arrived.

Puck opened the door to a crying blonde. He pulled her into his arms, bringing her to the couch as he comforted her.

When Quinn had calmed down, Puck looked at her. "You wanna talk about it?"

"I should've listened to you." Quinn said softly.

Puck furrowed his eyebrows.

"When you said something was off about Henry, I thought you were just jealous, but you came to the wedding and you walked me down the aisle, and I saw how much you cared about my happiness." Quinn began.

"I did." Puck nodded. "I do."

"Well, it turns out, you were right." Quinn said, tears pooling in her eyes. "About Henry."

"What happened?" Puck asked, taking Quinn's hands.

"The honeymoon was horrible." Quinn answered. "As soon as we checked in, it was like a switch flipped. He was yelling at me, and I thought it was jet lag or he was just tired from the wedding, but..."

"Did he put his hands on you?" Puck guessed.

"He did." Quinn bit her lip. "And I tried to fly back early, but he wouldn't let me. So then I just did whatever I knew would be the easiest for me to get through the trip, including having sex with him because I was too afraid to say no."

"Quinn." Puck frowned. "I'm so sorry."

Quinn wiped a tear as it rolled down her cheeks.

"Does he know you're here?" Puck asked.

"I don't know." Quinn said. "I told him I was going to get my keys from Santana."

"Well, you're safe here." Puck promised. "And you can stay."

Quinn looked at Puck.

"Take my bed." Puck added. "Try to get some sleep, and we can talk some more in the morning."

"Morning."

"Morning." Puck replied. "How'd you sleep?"

"Okay." Quinn shrugged, but Puck knew better.

"You want breakfast?" Puck offered. "I can make you something."

"I'm not hungry." Quinn noted, joining Puck on the couch. "How did you sleep?"

"Okay." Puck said. He looked at Quinn. "You can stay here as long as you want, Quinn. And whatever I can do to help, I-"

"I really appreciate it." Quinn interrupted. "But I should try to fix this."

Puck furrowed his eyebrows. "What?"

"I need to fix this." Quinn said again.

"You never wanted the marriage your parents had." Puck reminded Quinn.

"I made a commitment." Quinn stated.

"No commitment is more important than your happiness." Puck responded. "Or your safety."

"Maybe I don't deserve to be happy." Quinn noted. "Maybe after everything I've done, and all the mistakes I've made, this is what I deserve."

"It's not." Puck told Quinn. "No one deserves this, especially not you."

Quinn bit her lip.

"Stay here." Puck requested. "You can get a divorce and figure things out."

"I don't wanna be twenty-one and divorced." Quinn stated.

"Don't you wanna be twenty-one and happy?" Puck asked. "I know it'll be hard, but I mean, your mom was much happier after her divorce, and so was my mom after hers."

"I should've listened to you." Quinn said. "You were looking out for me."

"Quinn."

"I should've stayed with you." Quinn continued. "We could've made it work. I could've fought harder."

"Fight now." Puck encouraged Quinn. "Whatever you want, fight for it now. It's not too late. You can end things with Henry, if that's what you want."

Quinn paused and looked at Puck. "Is it too late for us?"
