"What did you say to Beth?" Quinn demanded, looking at her dad.

"What?" Russell wondered.

"What did you say to Beth about Noah?" Quinn asked.

"N-Nothing." Russell stuttered, exchanging a look with Judy.

"Really? Because she told me she thinks Gramma and Grampa don't like him." Quinn stated. "So I need to know what you said."

"Quinny, I-"

"He's her father!" Quinn exclaimed. "She loves him, and he's good to her, and you're not gonna take that away from her."

Russell raised his eyebrow, caught off guard by Quinn's sudden outburst. He opened his mouth, but Judy spoke first.

"Sweetheart, maybe Beth got confused. Your father didn't mean to-"

"Yes he did." Quinn interrupted. "Both of you have been doing this since the day you met him. And I won't let you do it anymore."

"Quinny, we all know that Noah isn't the best influence." Russell finally said. "He's not exactly who we hoped for you."

"You don't get to decide that." Quinn shook her head. "Beth loves him and he loves her. He's good to her, just like he is to me. So whatever you're saying about him, stop. Especially in front of Beth."

Russell and Judy exchanged another look.

"We're just looking out for you."

"You've been through so much, and Beth-"

"Beth is fine!" Quinn snapped. "You don't get to dictate the way we parent her."

"Quinny."

"I'll talk to Beth, but this stops now." Quinn said. "And if it doesn't, Noah and I will re-evaluate how much time we let you spend around our daughter."

"Don't be so dramatic." Russell muttered.

"I'm serious." Quinn clarified. "Do you understand me?"

Quinn didn't wait for an answer before leaving the room. She walked to the living room, where she found Puck.

"Hey." Puck said. "Beth's asleep."

Quinn nodded and joined Puck on the couch, curling up close to him.

"What's up?" Puck wondered, frowning as he wrapped his arms around Quinn.

"I love you." Quinn told Puck. "You know that, right?"

"I do." Puck confirmed. "But that doesn't mean I don't love hearing it."

Quinn nodded.

"I love you, too." Puck kissed Quinn's cheek. "What's going on?"

"My parents hate you." Quinn muttered.

"That's what you're upset about?" Puck asked. "That's not new, but I don't care about your parents or what they think of me."

"I know, but I do." Quinn said. "I hate that my parents don't like my boyfriend and don't even try to hide it from Beth."

"Me and Beth are good." Puck pointed out. "Come on, that kid worships me."

"Yeah, she does." Quinn smiled slightly. "But it's more than that. It's about how they treat you, and us. Like we don't know what's best for Beth or do right by her. It just feels like they're constantly undermining me."

"It doesn't matter what they think, Quinn." Puck noted.

"I hate feeling like I'm in the middle." Quinn continued. "Like I have to choose between them and you. Or them and Beth's happiness."

"You don't have to choose." Puck shook his head. "'Cause I'm not going anywhere."

Quinn nodded slowly, smiling happily at Puck.

"No matter what they say, I'm here." Puck promised, tightening his arms around Quinn. "You've got me and Beth's got me."

"Thank you." Quinn whispered. "For always being here."

"Where else would I be?" Puck asked.

Quinn smiled and cupped Puck's cheeks before kissing him. "And thank you for being the best dad to Beth. She needs you."

"She's lucky to have both of us." Puck told Quinn. "We're doing right by her. I know we are."
