Goodbye Finn (Quicketh)

"I'm gonna go back for Finn's funeral." Puck began. "You and Beth can stay here, but we skipped the wake, and I can't skip the funeral."

"Noah, we're coming with you." Quinn informed Puck.

"You don't think that'll be too much for Beth?" Puck asked.

"I think it's important that she has space to grieve, too." Quinn clarified.

"I'm just saying." Puck said. "I'm gonna be a mess. I'm not gonna be the best dad when I'm trying to keep myself together."

"Don't worry about Beth." Quinn responded. "I got her, and I got you."

When the trio arrived at the funeral home, it was unsurprisingly packed. They waited in line to get in, and slowly made their way to the front of the room where Carole was seated with Burt, Kurt, and Blaine. The glee kids were all nearby.

Puck felt more nervous and upset the closer he got to them and to the front of the room.

"I'm so sorry." Quinn said, hugging Carole before hugging Kurt and greeting Burt and Blaine with condolences.

"Thank you guys for coming." Kurt replied softly, wiping a tear as it rolled down his cheek.

Puck went to greet them, too, but caught a glimpse of his best friend's dead body. He suddenly felt really hot and dizzy, and thought he was about to throw up.

"Noah." Quinn said softly. "Are you okay?"

Puck nodded, unable to speak.

"I'm gonna take Beth to the bench to pray." Quinn decided. "Why don't you sit down?"

Puck almost fell as he went to sit, but Quinn grabbed his arm to support him.

"Noah."

"I'm good." Puck choked out, sitting down and loosening his tie.

Quinn nodded slowly as she took Beth's hand, leading her to the bench and kneeling down with her.

Puck closed his eyes, unable to look at Finn or watch the girls.

"FinnFinn, wake up!"

"Say a prayer for FinnFinn in Heaven." Quinn suggested.

"No." Beth replied, and Puck opened his eyes to watch her. "I don't want FinnFinn in Heaven! I want him here!"

"I know, Beth." Quinn nodded. "Me, too, but you have to be quiet. Let's say a prayer together."

"No!" Beth shook her head. "I want FinnFinn to wake up!"

"Beth." Quinn hushed her.

"Finn!" Beth screamed as she stood up on the bench and reached for her godfather while tears pooled in her eyes.

Puck squeezed his eyes shut tightly as Quinn quickly grabbed Beth, pulling her away and holding her.

"No!" Beth exclaimed. "No! I want FinnFinn!"

"I know." Quinn said softly, comforting Beth as she started walking to the door.

"Mommy, no!" Beth sobbed. "No!"

As Beth's screams grew quieter, Puck opened his eyes. He took a deep breath, trying to ensure he had enough strength to stand up before doing so.

"I'm sorry." Puck apologized on behalf of Beth to Finn's family, who were all crying again. He walked away, going to find Quinn and Beth.

"Daddy." Beth cried, reaching for Puck when she saw him.

"Let me take her, Q." Puck requested.

Quinn looked at Puck.

"I need some air anyway."
