Nose (Finn/Finchel/Quinn)

"Quinn, can you please talk some sense into my dad?" Barbra asked as she glared at Finn.

Quinn raised an eyebrow, looking between them. "What's going on? What aren't you letting Barbra do?"

"She wants to get a nose job." Finn answered. "I told her no."

"A nose job?" Quinn repeated.

"It's not like I'm asking for a complete makeover." Barbra jumped in, defensively. "Just a little change to one part of my body. I've hated my nose my entire life. It's too big, and it-"

"Barbra, it's fine." Finn cut Barbra off. "You don't need to change anything about yourself. You're beautiful the way you are."

Quinn's eyes softened as she studied Barbra. She knew how hard it was for a teenager to feel insecure about something they couldn't control, especially when they were trying to figure out who they were. But she also knew Finn—he was protective and stubborn, and this was a battle he wasn't going to give up easily.

"Finn, don't you think you should at least hear her out?" Quinn said, calmly. "I get that you're trying to protect her, but-"

"She's sixteen." Finn interrupted. "She's too young to make a decision about something that she can't undo. Something she might regret."

"You don't know that I'll regret it." Barbra noted. "What if it's the best decision I ever make?"

"No decision you make at age sixteen will be the best decision you ever make." Finn shook his head. "Quinn, help me out here."

"Quinn had a nose job and a baby by the time she was my age." Barbra pointed out. "You really think she's on your side?"

"I'm not taking sides." Quinn said. "Barbra, your dad is just trying to protect you, but Finn, it's her body. She's the one who has to live with it."

"Did you ever regret yours?" Barbra wondered.

"No." Quinn answered. "I was glad I didn't have to see my dad's nose when I looked in the mirror, especially after he disowned me."

"It's not like that for you, Barbra." Finn pointed out. "You have your mom's nose, but she loves you and you love her."

Quinn nodded slowly. "Still, it's okay to wanna change things you don't like about yourself. A nose job and baby turned out well for me, but that's not always the case, so don't do anything impulsively."

Finn looked at Barbra, trying to figure out what she was thinking. "Take some time to really think about it."

"I will." Barbra promised. "Will you talk to Mom about it?"

"No way." Finn smirked as he shook his head. "You're on your own with that."
