Dear BAM,
I'm dating this person and they live states away. When we met I was feeling really sad and I hated my appearance so I became a catfish and I want to stop but its really addicting. Anyways, they kind of fell in love with who I pretended to look like and act and I feel in love with them. I've been able to keep us from talking on the phone and video chatting, but I really feel like shit for doing it. *excuse the bad language* I want to tell them but I feel like they won't like me anymore and I don't think I could live without this person. They honestly make everything better. I was wondering if you had any type of advice for me.

Dear Anonymous,
Well I would think honesty is the best policy even if they might not be so into you in the end. If you know the person how they are they might end up becoming hurt but because of the lie and not because you are the person you are. If they can look past the lie itself then you actually could have a shot at the relationship. Other than that, I think you should be who you really are because at the end of the day your never going to find love in that specific way. You have to embrace your flaws and everything in between. If someone ever falls in love with you, they need to be aware of the person they fall for. No one wants to fall for a measure or fragment of a person. Like I said, be honest. Then you might actually have a chance at least a friendship. And also you have to look at what would you do if you were in that persons position. I hope this helps or clears some up.
