hai its been awhile since i asked for advise but ive been dating this awesome guy for almost 2 months already and i still havent told my parents, and they dont approve of me dating. i talked to my bf about it and he got really mad cause his parents know but mine dont and he said what were doing is really dangerous which it will be. idk what to do. :( i feel like we cant hide it cause since school is starting and im in drumline and hes in drumline and we go to competitions, my parents may see us together and suspect somethings up. im scared that my bf might break up with me cause we've been fighting about this a lot. pls help!

Dear the hopeless band geek,
It is dangerous to not have your family know. It only leads to your bf breaking up with you or your parents breaking you up when they find ou. In a respectable form you should tell your parents that you are seeing someone and tell them at least you had the decency to tell them instead of keeping it a secret. It's only a sign of maturity and who knows, maybe after meeting him and knowing what u just did will change their minds on dating.
