Dear bam you have helped me in the past to get over a crush so I feel like I can come to you about this.....My friends are too scared to stand up for me...the other day we we're walking around school and one of them who I don't get on with took my bag and ran of with it. .i went after her but when I caught. Her she tripped me up and all my"friends "were stood behind her laughing. ...yesterday I saw my friend passing a note to someone when they read it they looked over to me. ..laughed. and chucked it on the floor.......I did not mean to be nosey but I picked it up and saw mean comments. ...I went and told someone who I thought was my real friend they just told to forget about it but I can't .... I feel like none of my friends will support me because they are too afraid of losing their social status....please help. ..from isobel

Dear isobel,
Well those aren't your "Friends" for doing all of that. I would stay stand up for yourself if no one else will. If anything you should tell your friends how upset they are making you feel and how hurt you are by their gestures. As for other people react with dignity and don't let any of them get inside your head. You are strong don't let anyone stand over you like that.
