Hi I'm writing into Ask Bam! Firstly, how are you? So I have a huge problem, which could ruin my 10 year friendship with my best friend. In three weeks time I'm moving schools. After three unhappy years at the hell hole I'm finally going on my way. This is a good thing for me, but my best friend is so mad. She has a great school life with loads of friends and despite being only 13, she has a boyfriend and all anyone could want, whereas I have three friends, I've never been in a relationship and she keeps saying that no one wants me to go so I replied 'it's not who doesn't want me to go, it's the fact that I want to go!' And now she's got suddenly all friendly with a bitchy girl in my year who bullies me! What should I say? This could end badly for both me and her and she's like my sister but there's no way in hell I'm staying at the school just for her. Thanks so much, your advice looks great from what I've seen. Have a good day, ~Torn c:

Dear torn,
I'm doing well, a lil sleepy to be honest o.o how are you? :)
Well, seems to me like you are set on your decision. If you want to do something for yourself then you do it. Friends come and go. That's just how life is but I can say that if you both have been friends for that long and she doesn't understand then that's on her. All you can do is compromise on something like say hanging out every weekend or something like that you know? I don't want you to think that your friendship being ruined is the only option. As much as I'd like to say, people just grow apart, you don't have to make it that way. Talk to her about it and how you don't really appreciate her hanging with someone that has hurt you already. By her making friends with someone who has bullied you isn't really right and your worried about her as well.
