Dear BAM,  One of my best friends is going out with my crush , who I really like. I was her first friend and I welcomed her into our school. My best friend and I told her about our crushes and she promised she wouldn't go out with neither of them. She started talking to my crush around November, and I was a little jealous..but I got over it. She helped us go out, but he broke up with me about 2 days after. Anyways, I really appreciated her doing that. She knows that I really really like him. Like I really do. Last week, she came up to me and said that I should've texted my crush because now he is her babe and her brother. I didn't know what she meant because she said BABE and BROTHER so I just shrugged it off. Well today, I found out that they are really dating. I was talking to one of my friends about him and she turned around and told me and I quote "he's my man" I asked her have long have they been going out and she said for about a week and I asked if he asked her out and she said yeah he asked her out first. My crush knows we are close friends, and he knows that I like him, he's a player though. Anyways, the fact that she told me that she wouldn't go out with him and she always commented on how he is like her brother is really confusing because she said she doesn't even like him and she just goes out with him like it's nothing :( I'm sorry this is really long. But how to deal with this? -jossielol

Dear jossielol, 

Well how do you deal with something like that? For me I'd talk to her about how you feel about the whole not dating someone they said they wouldn't, see where that convo goes, and then after I would just ignore the whole situation together, move on from it and go on with your life because sitting around and watching one of your friends date your ex is just going to drive you to the brink of insanity you know? But this just what I would do.
