Kenzie's P.O.V.
"Your not leaving!" I pull his arm back. "McKenzie stop! I'm tired of hurting you. Your better off without me."
"Justin." I start to cry. He sits beside me. "I don't want to hurt you. That's something I can't help from happening. Your gonna end up getting really hurt. I don't want that." He rubs my back. "What about us? What about Kasey?"
"I don't know. Tell her-" I cut him off. "I'm not telling her anything. Your not leaving!" I bites his bottom lip. "What do you not understand McKenzie!? I have to go. Not for me. For you and Kasey. I don't wanna leave."
"Then don't! Do you know how heartbroken Kasey will be!?" I start to cry harder. "Please don't cry. It's for the best." I shake my head. "No. No it's not. You say it's for the best so tell me why am I in tears?" He stays silent. "Exactly."
"Can you just think about it?" He suggests. "No. I'm not thinking about it I'm not even considering it. I don't want you to leave!" His eyes start to water. "I'm very aware of that baby but.. I don't want to hurt you again. What if it gets worse that than? I have to."
"If your really going through with this then just stay with me tonight. I'm not ready to let you go." He nods. He takes off his jacket and lays down with me. Getting as close as he can to me and wrapping his arms around my waist.
**The Next Day**
Jc' P.O.V.
"Kenzie. Wake up. I'm leaving." I take the covers off her head.. She wasn't even there. Just pillows. I head down the stairs to the living room. "Kasey?" She smiles. "Hi Daddy!" She hugs my legs. "Hey. Do you know where Mommy is?" She shakes her head. "I think.. Shower!" I nod. "Well.. Daddy has to go bye bye."
"What? How long?" I bend down to get height, holding both her hands. "I have to go bye bye forever."
"No Daddy!" She cries. "I'm sorry princess but I have to." She cries harder. I hug her. "I'll miss you a lot."
"I miss you more." Huh? "Don't you mean, I'll miss you?" She shakes her head. "I miss you already." I hug her tighter, rubbing her back. "I'll.. I love you. I don't want to leave but I have to. I love you." She breaks the hug. "You leaving 'cause you were mad. Aren't you Daddy?"
"Yes.." There's no point in lying. Her bottom lip starts to quiver as if she's about to cry and she walks off. "I hate you Daddy!" I hear as well as the sound of her stomping feet. "Kasey! Kasey please!-" I get cut off my Kenzie. "You hurt her enough! And me in that matter. Just.. Since you want to leave so bad, just go!"
"I don't want to leave like this. I want us to be happy." She half laughs. "How are we going to be happy when your leaving!? Your the person that helped me through my tough times! Your the one that helps Kasey with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING! How are we supposed to be happy when the person we love will be like we never even known him?"
"Just get out. Just get out!!!" I do as she orders. She slams the door.
