-Savannah-

I nod as that's all I could do at the moment.

"What are you doing here? It's no place for a girl," he tells me.

"I was just trying to find my way home."

"Through here?" He chuckles. "I'll walk you home love."

"B-but I don't know you."

"Hmm that's right. I'm Liam," he smiles reaching his hand out towards me.

"Umm I-I'm uh Anna," I tell him as I shake his hand. I didn't really lie... just didn't want to give out my full name to a stranger. Even if that stranger saved my life.

"That's pretty," he smiles shaking my hand and I pull it back out. I nod as I lead the way out. What am I going to do now? I don't want this guy knowing where I live.

He catches up to me walking by my side.

"Are you afraid of me or something?"

"Huh?" I look over at him as he chuckles.

"I'm not going to hurt you. Those men were. Such pigs," he shakes his head in disappointment.

"Thanks. I don't know what would have happened if you weren't around."

"Don't worry, they will not come around anymore."

I continue walking as I see my house. I stop as I look at him.

"You can go now, I can manage from here."

"What? I'm not letting you walk alone until I know you're safe in your home."

"Look uh Liam or whatever your name is, I'm safe here. There's people around so you can go," I tell him as he nods.

"Sorry I was just trying to make sure you got home safe."

"Thank you. Goodbye," I wave him off as I don't move until he's out of sight. He frowns as he makes his way back where he came from.

What a day.

Next Day

I sigh as I shut my locker and jump back as Rachel smiles at me.

"I'm so sorry about yesterday, did you get a ride back home?" She asks.

"Oh uh ye-yeah sure," I smile a bit as I grasp a hold of my textbook. I turn around as Edward makes his way towards me.

"Rachel go," he says.

"Excuse me?"

He glares at her as she rolls her eyes and walks away. I look at him raising my eyebrows.

"Why did you talk to her like that?"

"That's not important now, Savvy I'm sorry about yesterday okay? Can we please try this again—"

"Edward, right now it's not the moment to talk about this. I'll see you later."

"Lunch? Since today is stupid block schedule I have no classes with you."

"Uh sure, I'll see you at lunch," I smile walking away. I make my way into my first period and sigh as Harry is at his new seat. Away from me. He's been such a jerk. I walk to the back taking my seat. He notices my presence as he looks over at me but then looks away.
