6:15 on a Saturday night you were excitedly getting ready for your anniversary. Jacob didn't tell you what you were doing but after 2 years together you trusted him. As you were checking over your outfit you got a text.

Jacob: Ready baby
You: Almost
Jacob: Were gonna have so much fun tonight
You: I'm excited
Jacob: Good see you in 10
You: Love you
Jacob: Love you too

You get to Jacob's house and as your pulling up there are cars already in his driveway not to mention lining the street. Confused, you park about two houses down and walk to his door. Before you could even knock he opened the door, and you heard and saw the unmistakable evidence of a party.
Jacob: Baby you outdid yourself
He kisses your cheek admiring your outfit. You were staring past him through the door at all the people in his house as he pulls you inside.
You: I thought it was just gonna be us
Jacob: Partires are no fun without a crowd Y/n
He forgot...he really forgot
You look away from him in utter shock and happen to lock eyes with Joey. When you look back Jacob's gone so you walk over.
You: Hey
You say fist pumping him.
Joey: Hey happy anniversary
You: Nice to hear it from someone...even if its the wrong person
Joey: You mean this party isn't for you
You: He forgot Joey...he actually forgot
You say upset looking at your shoes.
Joey: Oh my god do you want me to punch him
You: It's fine
Joey: You don't look too good, Imma go find him
Joey smiles at you weakly before getting up. You weren't in the mood for a crowd anyway so you go upstairs and sit on the edge of his bed looking at the floor and insisting you weren't gonna cry. Suddenly the door opens and he walks in. You look up immediately wiping the tears from your eyes as he rushes over and gets down on his knees in front of you.
Jacob: Baby girl I'm so sorry-
You: Why the hell does your best friend care more about our anniversary than you do
Jacob: Princess
You: (tears) Don't princess me Jacob, this hurts...more than any of the other crap we've been through
He takes both your hands.
Jacob: I know and I feel terrible
You find yourself crying harder as you try to get mad.
You: How could you forget us...forget me!
You say in tears as he sits next to you pulling you into a hug.
Jacob: Princess please forgive me your my everything
You cry into his shoulder as he strokes your hair telling you how sorry he is over and over.
Jacob: Please baby it'll never happen again
You: I can't trust you
Jacob: Y/n I f*cking need you please don't go
He says so passionately you can hear the emotion in his voice.
He leans in like he was going to kiss you but you back away. Jacobs eyes widen.
You: (sad) I don't mean as much to you as I thought I did
Jacob: Thats not true you mean the world to me!
You: (hurt) I'm just gonna go
You walk away and reach for the door handle. Before you turn it you hear him break down in tears. You fight back your own tears before opening it and walking out. You slowly walk down the hallway when you feel a pullback on your arm.
Jacob: I can't let you leave me Y/n you mean so much to me it's insane
You: Jacob
He takes both your hands.
Jacob: Trust me princess I'll never forget us again
You nod leaning your head against his chest. He hugs you gently.
Jacob: I love you baby
You: I love you too
He pulls you in for a kiss making you feel the sparks you felt when he kissed you for the first time.
