"It's Friday, Friday gotta get down on Friday!"

Your best friends chant as they walk up to your locker.

"Another week in the bag!"

Your overenthusiastic friend Loren states while fist pumping the air.

"You know some of us are still trying to catch up on the multiple hours of sleep missed by a certain dark side of YouTube"

"Was it another turtles eating strawberries compilation"

Your second best friend Dylan asks.

"Wait lemme guess, babies eating lemons"

Loren interrupts.

"She said dark idiots, not cute"

Your third bestie Maddie chuckles.

"You don't even wanna know"

You chuckle as the four of you make your way to class. They were all energetic and excited, while you were practically dragging.

"Y'know Y/n you should really attempt to go to bed early"

Loren suggests as you walk into class and take your usual seats. A lot of your friends were "popular" but you honestly didn't care about that. You considered yourself to be well known, which was a fact. Speaking of popular, you guys sit near Mark, Joey, Aaron, and Jacob, who your friends were always telling you would be a good boyfriend.

"Looks like someone spent all night watching cat videos again"

Aaron teases from the seat next to yours.

"I spent half my time not sleeping, talking to you idiot"

Everyone laughs.

"Why were you even up at that time?"

You ask

"Because!"

"Uh huh that's what I thought"

You talked to Aaron the most out of all of them, but your friends were kinda all over them.

"I don't understand, Y/n sleeps through this class every day and she has a higher grade"

Loren complains making you all laugh.

"I pay attention"

You joke.

"While sleeping?"

Jacob asks. You nod making him and you laugh a little. Making eye contact for a second you really got to admire how cute he was. Nice hair, plump lips, even his rosy cheeks were kind of-

"Y/n!"

Your teacher interrupts your thoughts and everyone turns around to look at you.

"Huh"

"Are you paying attention!"

You glance from her to Loren who was too busy holding in laughter to help you.

"Uuuuuuuh yes?"

The class starts laughing.

"What's the answer to question A, since we just went over it you should know"

When in doubt guess a random odd number

"Uuuuh 17?"

"Oh good you were paying attention"

She turns back around and continues teaching. You let out the breath you were holding while your friends continue to laugh.

"I guess you do pay attention"
