Jacobs P.O.V *what a shocker*

"How are things with you and Ariel"

I ask Blake as he, Hunter, and Joey chill in my living room playing Xbox.

"Good, but we really need to get you someone next"

He says and I roll my eyes because he already knows what I'm gonna say.

"You know I have my eye on someone already"

I say and he and Hunter laugh.

"Believe me we know, Y/n this, Y/n that, Y/n Y/n Y/n"

Hunter mocks. I don't talk about her that much...I don't think. Joey shoots a glare at me and then looks down at his controller assuming I didn't see, but I did.

"I'm gonna get a drink, anyone want anything"

They all shake their heads no, so I walk off to do my thing.

~ Clearly this is not only a time skip, but it also means they're changing P.O.Vs. I know right...magical~

With Jacob nowhere in sight Joey exhales loudly in frustration.

"You aren't over her yet are you?"

Blake asks looking at him.

"Why did he have to go after the one girl I wanted, they wouldn't even have met if it wasn't for me"

Joey says annoyedly.

"Make your move then"

Hunter says matter-of-factly making Joey scoff.

"Please, I'll do one better"

Joey says smugly reaching across the couch for Jacobs phone and opening messages. He pulls up your contact and starts typing.

Jacob: Hey

You: Hi

Jacob: Are you busy Friday night

You: No why?

Jacob: Do you wanna hang out, go get food or something

You: Sure, see you Friday

Jacob: yeah

"What did you do Birlem"

Blake says skeptically as Joey puts the phone back.

"I was just being a good friend, I made his move for him"

~Thursday Jacobs P.O.V~

Eww school. Whatever I'm here I might as well learn something. I'm walking down the hall with Blake, Hunter, and Joey. They've all been acting kinda shady recently, like they know something I don't. Especially him. As I look up the hallway I see Y/n heading this way to biology. I'm not in her class but I know. We make eye contact and she smiles as she walks by.

"I'm so excited for Friday"

She says in that angelic voice of hers as she walks into class. I just smile and nod because I have no idea what she means. I go through the rest of my day just a lil confused.
