Katherine

I skipped into the base with a smile on my face. I got a few friendly greets but most people there are scared of me and it's unusual I'm here while I'm not working and I have a smile on my face. They know something is up. I look in the room with all the bullshit detective desks. She's not here. I check the kitchen area. I see her making a cup of coffee, her back to me. I closed the door. She straightened up.

"What do you want Katherine?" She sighed.

"What gave it away?" I asked. "Could you feel the awesomeness radiating off of me?"

"No, I could sense the bitch radiating off of you." She turned around, sipping her coffee.

She had a bruise on her face and a cut on her lip. She saw me eyeing it.

"Mission." She told me.

"Didn't ask because I don't care." I shrugged.

"What do you want?" She rolled her eyes.

"I'm here to invite you to my wedding." I smiled wider.

"Yeah okay. I'll just show up and show support to the bitch that stole my boyfriend."

"Honey, he was always mine. You were just temporary replacement." I waved my hand.

"Forget it." She tried to walk past me.

I stepped in her way. "You are coming to this wedding."

"For what? So you can rub it in that you have him?" Cheryl narrowed her eyes.

"Exactly." I nodded.

"No."

"Yes."

"For fucks sake!" Cheryl is angry.

"And they say I am bipolar." I flipped my hair.

"I am not going to your joke of a wedding. Now move out of my way."

"Or what?" I grinned.

She backed away.

"Just come and enjoy some cocktails. If you're not there, you might as well leave the country because I will be on your ass like white on rice." I got closer to her face.

Cheryl looked at me in the weird way. Her eyes roamed my face. The fuck is wrong with her? I stepped back and placed my hand on the knob of the door.

"The wedding will be fun. But not fun enough if I can't make someone jealous." I informed her.

She seemed confused but not at what I was saying. As if she was thinking hard about something. I left the kitchen and made my way to Nobody office. He was sitting in his chair, doing paperwork.

"Katherine! How's my favorite demon?" He asked, happy.

"Great. I have a favor to ask." I told him.

"Anything you need."

"I want you to walk me down the aisle." I blurted out.

He sat back in his chair and smiled wide.
