Workin' for a livin'
Livin' and a workin'
I'm takin' what they're givin'
'Cause I'm workin' for a livin'

Grayson was up early, as usual, and decided to make breakfast for Cait and Rae, as they got ready to head off for their first day of work.  Luke stumbled down the stairs, muttering about how loud a hair dryer was at 7:30 in the morning.

Cait was next, in a slim black pantsuit with some really amazing shoes. Rae came last, in a navy suit similar to Cait's.

Grayson smiled and set their breakfast on the island, Cait's coffee made just the way he knew she liked it next to hers. Luke managed to pour Rae some orange juice as his contribution.

"Thank goodness one of us is the nurturing one in our relationship," Cait smiled at Grayson and pecked his lips.

"I'll nurture you any time, Callahan," he grinned.

"Sorry," Luke smiled at Rae.  "You're definitely the nurturing one.  But I poured your juice.  And I'll handle dinner."

"Great," she sighed.  "We're having pizza." She exchanged a grin with Cait.

"I'll buy you guys salads too," Luke smirked.  "And someday, you and G can sit around and trade child rearing tips or something, while Cait and I laugh at you."

"I wouldn't laugh at that," Cait told him.  "Every relationship needs someone to be the sweet one.  It just so happens that Grayson's usually it in ours."

"You can be sweet, too," Grayson wrapped an arm around her.  "Once in awhile."

"I think you're forgetting exactly how sweet I was to you last night," Cait whispered, reaching up to kiss his cheek.

"Nope.  I'm not forgetting anything about last night," he whispered back.

"Sadly, neither can anyone else who was within earshot," Luke muttered under his breath.

"We'd better get out of here before you two make us late for work on our first day." Rae rolled her eyes and smirked at them.

Cait laughed and helped Grayson pick up the dishes. "Should I have packed a lunch for you two?" he asked with a grin.

"No need," Cait told him. "We're having a power lunch with the big boss man."

"Tell your dad I said hey," Grayson smirked. He handed Cait her briefcase, the one he'd bought her for her graduation. "And don't try to take over the whole company on the first day."

"No promises," she grinned.

The car was waiting for them downstairs and Cait and Rae slid in and headed from midtown to company headquarters in lower Manhattan. Wedding plans were set aside as they started discussing their strategy to give away money to make the world a better place.

Back at the apartment, Grayson and Luke were planning their day.  "Gym and a yoga class first," Grayson told him.  "Jack got Cait and I memberships at this awesome place.  Then we can figure out which museum to hit today."
