We're gonna do what lovers do
We're gonna have a fight or two
But I ain't ever changin' my mind
Crazy girl, don't you know that I love you?
And I wouldn't dream of goin' nowhere
Silly woman, come here, let me hold you
Have I told you lately?
I love you like crazy, girl

Grayson had to leave for Cleveland, while Cait and Rae were off to Detroit. As much as Cait thought she was feeling better about things, being apart from Grayson was suddenly difficult.
It was stupid. She'd just spent time away from him voluntarily. She told herself that she really had to get this emotional diva thing under control.
Rae had reminded her that she might still be hormonal for a few days, so Cait hoped that was all it was. Otherwise, she was going to have to book a room at the funny farm.
She was sitting on the bed in the room she and Grayson had shared, watching him pack and feeling empty at the prospect of not seeing him until Saturday. And feeling stupid for feeling that way.
"You okay?" Grayson asked, as he noticed her carefully studying him with a strange expression.
She sighed. "Can I ask you a question?"
"Anything," he smiled at her.
"Why do you put up with me?" she whispered. "I left when I should have stayed. Now I want to stay when I should let you go. I'm a disaster most of the time."
"Stop," Grayson frowned at her. "You aren't a disaster. It's a tough time. You have very good reasons to be struggling. We both do. And I put up with you because you put up with me too. And because I love you."
"Don't you think eventually you'll get sick of me?" she mumbled.
"Will you get sick of me?" he returned. "When I say something stupid again or if I sit the bench from now until the end of time and keep bitching about it?"
"No," she sighed. "But-"
"Cait, I love you." He stopped his packing and walked over to her now, sat on the bed and took her good hand in his. "That's never going to change. No matter how crazy either of us gets. You've seen me through the worst parts of my life. I'm going to do the same for you. That's what really loving someone is about."
"I love you, too," she said with a small smile.
"Come here." Grayson wrapped her in a hug. "I love all of you. The crazy parts and the not crazy parts. What's crazy is how much."
"I love all of you too," Cait told him. "So bitch about your ankle or sitting the bench all you want. I'll still love you."
"Good," Grayson said, kissing her nose. "Because it's gonna take more than a little insanity to get rid of me. Told you before, being dragged into each other's insanity is exactly what this relationship is all about."

Rae waited mostly patiently for the goodbye kiss that lasted longer than it probably should have. But eventually she pulled Cait away by her good arm and they got to the airport and then on to Detroit.
