So come on let me see
I say baby, you're amazing
I want to let you see
That you are everything and more to me
I will let you be
I will I will
——Amazing, Josh Kelley

To Grayson's shock, his fiancée looked upset at his statement.  "I'm an awful person," she whispered.  "I didn't have to fire her.  And now we don't have a wedding planner and I have no idea what I'm gonna do.  And just when I thought I was starting to figure some things out.  But now I have no idea again and this is all one huge mess."

"Whoa, slow down," Grayson furrowed his brow at her.  "You're not an awful person.  Nothing is a mess."

"Yes, it is."  He saw a little fire in those green eyes.  "I wanted to turn over a lot of the legwork associated with the wedding to someone else, because I finally figured out what I want to do with my time, at least, what I want to try to do, but now I don't have anyone to give the wedding stuff to, so if I do what I want, our wedding will be a disaster."

"Take a breath, Kitten." Grayson ran a hand over her hair. "You're usually the sane one in our relationship."

"Not always," she sniffled. "And not right now. But I don't want to drag you into my insanity."

"Being dragged into each other's insanity is exactly what this relationship is all about," Grayson told her with a chuckle.  "Cait, let's talk this through.  Let me help you, okay?  And don't give me this crap about not wanting to be a distraction.  You're never that. You're the most important thing in the world to me.  Way more important than basketball."

She let out a sigh. "You need to focus. I'll figure this out."

"Bullshit," he said firmly.  "The last time you employed that logic, I had to chase you to another continent. Basketball is my job.  You're my family.  Explain and we'll find a solution together."  Grayson sat beside her and took her hand.  "Maybe we can even do it without yelling at each other for once."

She blew out a breath.  "It's not that our wedding isn't important to me.  It is.  But I want to give the directions and let someone else worry about the details.  I have my job to deal with.  And I've been thinking a lot about that meeting with Jared and the Park City execs.  And I've got an idea of what I want to do and I feel really strongly about it.  The more I've thought about it, it's exactly what I want.  But I can't take it on if I have to handle every detail of the wedding.  And I want the perfect wedding, I do.  I don't want you to think that I don't care enough to take on the planning."

"Okay, hold on," Grayson said.  "I know the wedding is important to you.  It's important to both of us.  But I don't blame you for not wanting to handle every phone call and minor task.  I wouldn't want to do that either.  So there are two possible solutions.  Either we go with my idea and just get married here in Vegas. You can put that dress over there right back on and we can do this today.  Or we just hire another wedding planner."

"The process of hiring another wedding planner seems overwhelming," Cait admitted.  "But not as overwhelming as handling it all myself."

"I guess Vegas is off the table," he smirked.

"If we did that, I'd be a widow when Momma Sherry got her hands on you," Cait said wryly.

"Fair point," Grayson laughed.  "And I'd rather avoid that, so I guess I have to be patient about getting married.  So we hire another wedding planner.  We can interview some when we're in New York.  And we'll do that together."
