Well, my little girl is 23
I walk her down the aisle
It's a shame her mom can't be here now
To see her lovely smile
They throw the rice, I catch her eye
As the rain starts comin' down
She takes my hand, says "Daddy don't be sad 'cause I know Mama's watching now."
'Cause there's holes in the floor of Heaven
And her tears are pouring down
That's how I know she's watching
Wishing she could be here now

"Wait a damn minute, why do I have to suffer?" Luke frowned at Rae. "You stayed here last night."

"But Cait and I have to be up early to get our hair and makeup done," Rae explained. "And we need to do it at the house. Not to mention the fact that this is her last night before the wedding. I should be there with her."

"Why?" Luke frowned.

"She shouldn't be alone, Luke," Rae pointed out. "And Grayson is staying here. You're the best man. You should stay with him. And talk to him."

"This is bullshit," Luke huffed. "I'm not getting married tomorrow. There's no reason you and I can't spend the night together."

Rae rolled her eyes at him. "Luke, you'll survive one night. I'm really sure of it."

"I survive all the time when we aren't together," he frowned. "I shouldn't have to sacrifice now."

"Suck it up, buttercup," Rae told him, with a challenging look. "And talk to your best friend. He's gotta be uneasy after the trade."

Luke watched Grayson giving Cait a quick kiss and a smile. And he did the same to Rae. "Jae talked to him all the way out on the flight yesterday," he sighed. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow."

Rae and Cait turned to leave and Grayson appeared beside him. "What're we gonna do, G?" he asked. "Hang with the guys for a little bit, I guess?"

"Oh no," Grayson grinned. "Follow me."

"Did you know that the girls have two cars right now?" Grayson asked, casually walking into the resort. "Jack keeps one here at the house. But they rented a second car for the week. Because they needed to split up a lot. That's the car Cait and I took from the airport yesterday."

Luke wasn't sure why any of this was relevant. "So what?" he asked.

"So, they just left here in the rental. The BMW," Grayson said, pulling Luke around a corner and into a deserted hallway. "And Cait left me the keys to the Escalade."

"Are we sneaking out?" Luke asked in a whisper.

"Damn straight," Grayson grinned. "But we can't let my mother find out. She'll flip shit."

"This is like high school," Luke giggled. "Okay, here's the plan."

"G!"

Grayson was trying to make his escape, but he recognized that voice.

"Tee," he turned with a sigh.

"Miss Sherry's lookin' for you," Tonan said quickly. "She's pretty insistent."

"Do me a favor and tell her I'm with the guys," Grayson said quickly.

"Are you gonna be with the guys?" Tonan asked with a smirk. He always knew when Grayson was full of shit.

"What're you, the FBI?" Grayson hissed back.
