She was like, oh my God, this is my song
I've been sittin' 'round waitin' for it to come on
And here it is
——Play It Again, Luke Bryan

"I can't remember the last time I just went on a honest to goodness road trip," Rae giggled as she reached into the small cooler to hand Cait a Diet Coke.  "This is much better than strippers."

"You can say that again," Cait said with a shake of her head.  "A spa trip with you and me is the perfect way to relax right now.  I mean, since Grayson isn't here.  No offense, Rae, but I'd ditch you for him if I could."

"Don't worry, I know where I rank," Rae smirked.  "So much for sistahs before mistahs."

"Like you wouldn't rather be with Luke," Cait laughed.  "You and I are honestly kind of pathetic when you think about it.  Those two boys have us crazy."

"Well, if anyone could drive you nuts, it's those two," Rae giggled.  "Just glad to have company on the journey to the funny farm."

Cait was behind the wheel of her father's Mercedes AMG-GT.  Jack rarely actually drove the car anywhere, driving his SUV on the rare occasions that he drove in New York, so he'd been happy to loan it to them for their trip.  And Cait and Rae were speeding down the New Jersey Turnpike.

The car had a 577 HP engine, so speeding was probably the operative word.  But Rae decided to sit back and relax.  Cait could manage to ski an average of 80 miles an hour down a course, so Rae wasn't terribly concerned about her ability to handle that speed with a German engineered vehicle around her.

It was supposed to be about a three hour drive, but Rae doubted it would take them that long.  Cait was the type of person to get in the car and go.  She didn't stop a whole lot when she was driving.  She was always impatient to get where she was going.  And Rae was okay with that.  She was kind of task oriented herself.

They'd left Manhattan at lunch time, hoping to miss any traffic, which had been a successful plan.  And they pulled up to the front of the Hotel Hershey and handed their bags to a bellhop and turned the car over to a valet.  They were informed that their suite was ready and they settled in.

Cait had made all of the arrangements and their passes for the park were waiting for them, along with the fast track add on that allowed them to skip the lines.  It was worth $100 to Cait to do that.  And the concierge informed them that there was a shuttle from the hotel.

Once they'd unpacked and changed into running shorts and sneakers, Cait and Rae headed out.  And they had a blast.

"The Great Bear is literally the best ride ever," Cait said, after they rode it for the third time.  They even sat right in the front.

"I though Fahrenheit was cool," Rae smiled.  "I love feeling weightless."

"Neither of us is gonna feel weightless after the funnel cakes and cotton candy we ate," Cait laughed.  "Good thing we skipped dinner."

"We still get to go to Chocolate World too," Rae grinned.  "You might be buying stuff for Grayson, but I'm not promising that I won't be getting something for the room."

"No need," Cait told her.  "There's apparently chocolate all over the place at the spa."

"Good God, it's like heaven," Rae laughed.  "I wonder if I can convince Luke to come here on our honeymoon."

"Somehow, I suspect Luke would be more down with the spa thing than Grayson," Cait snickered.

"I don't know," Rae smiled.  "Grayson's all into the Zen and meditation stuff.  And he took you to a spa for Valentine's Day."
