And the Colorado rocky mountain high
I've seen it raining fire in the sky
You can talk to God and listen to the casual reply
Rocky mountain high

They were on another plane and Grayson smiled over at Cait.  "Ready for a whole six days at home?" he grinned.

"Is Colorado home?" she asked.  "I haven't been there since December."

"It's where you're from," Grayson pointed out.

"Sort of, I guess," she smiled wryly.  "But Salt Lake City is home now.  Or it will be once we aren't homeless."

"We own two houses," Grayson laughed.  "I hardly think we're homeless."

"I suppose not," Cait laughed too.  "But I'll be glad when we have a place to live in Salt Lake."

"We'll get there, Miss Ants in her Pants," Grayson giggled.  "But we should be looking for something between downtown and Park City."

Cait frowned at that.  "You need to be near the practice facility," she told him.  "I can drive to Park City, if that even works out."

"Cait, I can drive 15 or 20 minutes to make it easier for you," Grayson told her.

"It's more important to me that we find someplace we like," Cait said.  "Are you sure you don't want to buy a house?"

"Not yet," Grayson sighed.  "Look, I could get traded or something and then it's a huge headache to deal with.  Let's rent for awhile.  See how things go."

Cait wanted to argue with him about that, but she had a feeling that Grayson wouldn't give in.  Normally that wouldn't have stopped her, but she was trying to respect his thoughts on this.

She knew that Grayson didn't want to rely on her money, didn't want to seem as though his rich fiancée was footing the bill for them to live in luxury.  He wanted to do exactly what any other player in his position would do. And he'd insisted that they were splitting the rent for whatever place they chose.

"We can argue over location later," Cait finally huffed. "Let's enjoy this week. Did you decide what you want to do?"

"Gee, let me see," Grayson smirked. "My choices were to brave frigid water while white water rafting or to trust that I won't plummet to my death while ziplining. I wonder which I should choose. I mean, falling a hundred feet seems like death would be quick and painless, but I've heard drowning isn't a bad way to go either."

Cait rolled her eyes at him. "If you're this big a chicken, we'll just hike. But you're missing out."

"We'll see," Grayson smiled. "I'm excited to go to Red Rocks tonight. I've heard that place is amazing."

"Two concerts in one week," Cait smirked at him.

"Don't remind me," Grayson groaned. "Why am I going to a country music concert again?"

"Because you love me," she reminded him.

"That I do," he smiled.
