"Are you ready to go back home?" Sam asks you, holding one of your suitcases while you were still cleaning out a drawer.
"I am." You nodded, taking out the same picture as the one you showed Carson.
"Remember this?" You held up the picture by your ear, showing Sam and Dean. Dean takes the picture out of your hand and smiles.
"Oh yeah, the case at the photo shoot. Where was that at?" Dean looks at Sam.
"Idaho, uh I believe Moscow." Sam says.
"Doesn't matter where it was, matters that we got the demon." You say, closing the last of your suitcase and setting it down next to you. You let out a sigh and look around at your motel room again. "I'm actually going to miss this place."
"Well, your room at the bunker misses you more." Sam tells you.
"You kept it the same all this time?" You asked, surprised.
"Yeah, just in case you decided to put your head on straight and come back." Dean jokes.
"Haha, funny." You say sarcastically, rolling your eyes and your suitcase over to the door. You snatched the picture out of Deans hands and put it in your back pocket.
"How'd Carson react to this?" Sam asks, eyebrows raised.
"Good actually. He talked me into going back. He said I was badass." You tell them, chuckling.
"Good man. Should've married him." Dean tight lipped smiled at you. You glare up at him, annoyed.
"Come on, we have a long drive ahead of us." Sammy rolled his eyes and takes one of your suitcases and Dean takes the other one out of your hand.
"You two go ahead, I need a moment." You stop on your doorstep, leaving Sam and Dean nod and head to the chevy impala.
You go back inside your apartment and sit on your made bed, touching the sheets, remembering the good and the bad memories of it. You then look at the little things of the apartment, your drawers, drapes, table, kitchen. Everything. You were going to miss the life of not being a hunter, but you missed being a hunter more.
"Thanks for reminding me for who I really am." You sighed softly, staring at the ugly walls. This apartment wasn't just a place for you to sleep, it told you who you really were. A damn good hunter.
You then slid off the bed heading towards the door, closing it behind you.
"Okay bros, lets go." You hopped down the stairs happily and then looked up, seeing someone you didn't think you would see right this second.
"Cas!" Your eyes widened in surprise and also in shock.
"Hello, Y/N." He simply greets you. You smile with with your teeth, looking at Sam and Dean.
"Look more happy to see him, Y/N." Sam tells you.
"Sorry. It's just been an interesting morning." You defend yourself, going up to Cas and giving him a hug. God, you missed this angel.
"I missed you." He muffled in your shoulder, feeling the vibrations through your bones and making you have goosebumps.
"I did too." You answered back. You ended the hug and smile at Cas who just stares into your eyes.
Dammit, the feelings came right back. You weren't going to tell him about Carson because you were going back home so why bring up old wounds? Besides, you didn't know if Cas liked you like that anyway.
"Shotgun!" You yelled, running to the front seat while Sam and Dean were struggling to put your suitcases in the back seat with all of the fake ids, blades and guns in the way.
"Ugh, no fair Y/N!" You hear a winy voice from the back of the impala and you let out an evil laugh.
"You were too slow, Sammy." Dean chuckles.
"I didn't miss this while you were gone." Sam shoots while closing the trunk of the car.
You look back at Cas who was in the back seat and you both snicker.
"Hey, careful with baby!" Dean screamed at Sam.
"He barely closed it, Dean. Chill." You told Dean who was plopping himself in the drivers seat.
"Don't you dare call baby 'it'." Dean spats. You roll your eyes, while Sam sets himself in the back seat, glaring that you took shotgun. You return the glare with a evil smile and you feel a little tap on your head.
"Hey!" You yelled, turning around and attacking Sam from the back seat, who Cas was getting the worst of it.
"Come on, guys. Knock it off." Dean pulls you up back in the front seat, letting a groan slip your lips.
"I definitely didn't miss this, either." You sternly turn to Sam. You couldn't help it but not keep the straight face any longer, so your lips release a chuckle, having Sam do the same.
"You two are high." Dean turns on the ignition and pulls out of the parking lot.
"We love you too." Sam says, still laughing and you then hear Castiel start to chuckle.
You were happy that you were back with your family to fight the bad guys who are trying to destroy the world. You loved these boys with all of your heart and you'd do anything for them.
